Rockford Ready had a great Q&A about the updated COVID-19 vaccine and the current risk of COVID-19 infection with local Rockford pharmacist, Dr. Ashay Patel from Downtown Discount Drugs, and we were joined by Ron Webb, RN, Health Team Lead at the City of Rockford.
City of Rockford’s Health and Human Service's health literacy initiative, Rockford Ready, aims to build a healthier tomorrow by empowering residents to take control of their health through education, community engagement and promoting access to the COVID-19 vaccine and booster. This program is led by the City of Rockford, in partnership with the University of Illinois Chicago, College of Medicine, Office of Health Literacy and UIC College of Medicine Rockford as well as CURA Strategies.
