It's never the same show with the Prophet...seen him dozens of times over the years. The only thing that seems to be the same are his jokes. I was at the next nights show which was awesome but didn't have the same energy from Charlie.
On guitarists list people mention this and the other. My faves include Pat Metheny, Frisell, Jim Hall, etc, but when it comes to rock n' roll the Prophet's top!
Isn't it though? I am so fortunate to live here. This was the next to last night of music in Austin for quite a while. My absolute favorite music club is definitely The Continental Club! I can't wait for it to open and I am glad it didn't open until it is safe.
I think there was one more night of live music in Austin after this show. I believe Chuck played the next night at The Continental Club also. After that though, it was dark stages until around late October when some new, outdoor venues popped up. "The Far Out Lounge and Stage" in Austin is cool. They have live music now.
@@briantowns4482 They played the early - late double show on Saturday. It was prime Prophet as usual but the Charlie n Chuck action was not as intense as what you captured. Fantastic footage Mr. Towns! I'll be looking for you at the next Prophet show. You should try the Sagebrush on S. Congress just North of Stassney. I've been catching shows all year there and it's got similar vibe as Whitehorse. I don't know why the algo sent your Prophet videos my way today, but again, nice videos.
Some of the most beautiful guitar noice I've heard in my entire life!.
Charlie sextonone of the best guitar players
This is some A+++ audience footage my friend.

A date to remember for sure.
Bad ASS.
Love you chuck
Holy cow!
Mr. P is my hero!
EPIC👍✌😎🇦🇺❤❤
Looking like Elvis.
Charlie dosen't seem like he has that much fun whenever he's playing with his Bobness! Chuck AND his band are the dopest!
He works for Bob, Bob is centre of attention, this on the other hand is a guest spot jam.
Chuck is an awesome soloist, never knew. A+ on guitar faces too
