Guys I'm a Benfica fan, first off i would love to massively thank you for taking Ruben away from Sporting. AHAHAH. Secondly, you guys have a really good manager here. Relax, Ruben will play the high earners first, as they show their true colors, they will be slowly but surely be let go, new guys will come in, youngsters from the academy will rise to the first team, and suddenly you'll find yourselves being contenders once again. If not, and i really hope you guys screw this up, Benfica will surely welcome our dear Ruben back, now as the Head coach where he belongs. EHEHEH. Im just half kidding, Man utd was my childhood foreign team, loved the Ferguson years, and it hurts me seeing United at 12th in the league. Hope you guys trust our boy and let him do his thing.
man only have 1 week and several days with some players, many got injured and just returned from intl duty. i don't understand why people ask him to do miracles especially when he try to implement his system, patience is key.
The Busby babes won 2 titles and were on for euro glory , average age 21 . George debuted at 17 and was the best player in the world at 20-21 in a league where they were trying to break his legs . Wayne , Cr7 and the class were all really young . If they are good enough they are old enough - Sir Matt .
I was glad to hear that Amorim told Ashworth and company that he wants no more meetings this week and to have all his attention to the squad. Hope they listen
Trashford..!! Lol.. You guys realy don't like him at all..!! for what i saw, i think he is a good player, much better than casemiro, that is way below par, but right now Rashford is really not doing much at Man United.. A really good Striker is needed for this system to work.. 😏
This result ensures we judge these players without rose-tinted glasses. I prefer the stark reality. Amad is our best attacker and perfectly profiles to play the Trincao role. This coaching staff trust data so hopefully there will be meritocracy in this regime that was missing previously.
Bruno plays like an inside forward- I've banged on about this for years. He runs upfield away from the ball. He has to go to the ball and run the game. Why anyone needs to tell a £350K a week midfield player to do this is baffling, but I'm glad Amorim's identified the problem.
Amorim impressed me with his reading of the game, accurate postmortem, and clear analysis and diagnosis of the problem. He is also honest: if we are all about winning without putting in place a foundation, we will continue to be in this cycle of firing managers
He spotter the issues straight away and addressed it in the post match interview. I love that from him. Hopefully he can help players rectify this or get new ones if some of them cant adapt. Amad defensively was amazing for someone who isnt a defender he understood the instructions and carried them out to a tee and got the assist. Some wont survive and u can see it.
The only ones that ran with ball progressions were Amad and Garnacho. Ipswich ran and broke our lines and we just passed between our beck 3. These players don't want to run with the ball
Exactly that, if they had bashed Ipswich then they would get away with it again. As much as its annoying dropping points again it's almost a blessing as they have shown exactly what they are... overhyped bluffers. Now he can get to work knowing what they are
Hi Adam If we have to keep Bruno because he is captain then I would like to see him drop back to a number 8 position and play next to Ugarte and then as attacking midfielders play Mount and Mainoo with Amad as the #9
I really loved that Ruud van Nistelrooy passion on the touch line very effective better than what I seen yesterday somebody looking like a nervous wreck chewing his fingernails off to the bone
Exactly. Keeping possession is important to the Amorim style. People are deflated because we lost. If we had won what will be the story? I mean we need to be patient because we have a very good manager there.

The reason Amorim is requesting two midfielders moving forward is because Casimero and Eriksen cannot give him the intensity to be effective in midfield as shown yesterday against Ipswich, There are going to be players in this squad that will fall by the wayside as Amorim builds. IMO the players in danger would be Maguire, Casimero, Eriksen, Rashford and Shaw, Mount and Malacia will be given time to show some fitness and hopefully they will both come good given time.

Amorim has said that he won't be having the youth treams playing the same way as the first team. He believes they need to learn different systems to become rounded players.

Casemiro is not a good player for this system.. i think..!!
Absolutely 🐶💩😡😡😡😡 same old positive 🤔
These players are on ridiculous wages and they’re weak, lack intensity, lack creativity, lack physicality and lack football IQ to play this system and ultimately aren’t good enough. We got bopped off the park by Ipswich there’s no way we’re finishing in the top 4 or winning the Europa league. I don’t trust Ineos to get rid of players and get the right ones in.
