Awesome job, I love how organized your job sites are! I have the ceramic window tint on my tl250, I think it’s 40. I love it and makes a huge difference! Now I just need to get the excavator done, it’s always something. Thanks for r
Great vid as usual. Your a good friend to take the time help Zack that's hard to find these days. I crashed my DJI last week, I'm not sure what happened but I got a error on the screen that said Battery failure and 5 sec later in came down from 280'. My 8yr old son loved it can't afford another. Glad you got yours back
You've got the best videos, organized, and down to earth. I do a wide variety of jobs and sometimes look to your videos to see how you approached it or work it. Keep up good work.
Tint definitely makes a difference. The windows on the crane I operate at work are finally tinted. It took almost 10 years to talk them into it but the difference in glare from truck and forklift lights is lots better. I also painted the inside of the cab black and it’s like looking outside from a cave everything I’m making lifts to is much more defined.
Don't worry about the drone footage...The amount of woods you tear out in a days time, can easily be seen from the Live Feed from the Hubble telescope!
Totally have to admit, I watched your videos and watched you digging trees out and then pushing them over stump attached, then bucking them. I tried it and it’s the easiest technique by far. Use it all the time.
Nice job man. You are good at what you do. Nice tint job also I put 5% on all but my windshield and your right that big window wow what a job. Our situation is a lot alike. My grandfather started the company 30 year ago and passed in 2011 and then my uncle started running it.
We just got done clearing 50 acres of northern cal oak outside Lincoln, CA. Wish we had all that flat ground you have there, I drive the 2 '12 pete's with 36' high wall end dumps we use, was interesting at times getting my trucks into the operators, specially when it was raining none stop all winter, ended up being a 6 month job. Looks like you guys are making some short work of that one!
You're absolutely right! He lays the trees out perfectly for bucking and then comes back and loads Zack's truck. I'm thinking he's just a softie at heart.
I have a 39 Komotsu dozer that I just had tinted with 5% on every window and I love it. I have absolutely no glare and ZERO problems seeing out of them!!!! if you tint the front window with 20% also you will be just fine.
You should get the gyeon ceramic coating finish applied to the paint and windows on all your equipment. It's a hydrophobic sacrificial layer that lasts a long time. It's way better than rain-x.
michelinman 8592 I had to put a transmission in it last week but yes it does have windshield wipers now lol. I got caught in a bad rain storm loaded and almost hit someone so I went right then and got some arms from the salvage yard then new wipers
Zach here. It will haul just over 8 tons legally. Its not fast but it gets the job done. Hauled 5 loads off that job in the last 3 days and got another load on the truck for Monday.
TAWZace Hey Zach if you up your License weight to 40k lbs.you can haul a lot more raw logs to market in NC and get the commodity specific exemption, but that would be a lot of weight for that little truck. NCGS 20-118 and NCGS 20-88 if you want to read it that’s the statue #. I really like y’all’s videos hard working guys!
Who's the Boss of this outfit? dude. and how does the work come in because you never seem to be out of jobs to do, likewise with the Done I bought mine last Xmas and fear smashing it into something
I thought this might have been a new piece of equipment debut video. Slow production and all you still probably moved more wood than those Indiana boys.
Now you have earned my respect, by letting something good come from that timber. Thank you.
Why on earth do I sit on a Friday night watching a guy load logs on a truck for 20 mins. Idk but next dang video he puts up I’ll watch it too.
I know lol
The trees you toss in burn pile sure would make someone with a fire place mighty happy !
You make it look so easy to be an operator. Keep up the good work Chris

I find this soooo relaxing to watch. Thanks, man. It's always a pleasure to watch a professional at work.
The customer wants some privacy...but also a clear field of fire for scoping trespassers.
Great vid as usual. Your a good friend to take the time help Zack that's hard to find these days.

If I watch your videos long enough can I learn to operate an excavator. Like put on my resume "1500 hours of Letsdig18."
Papaw hahahaha
Don't worry about the drone footage...The amount of woods you tear out in a days time, can easily be seen from the Live Feed from the Hubble telescope!
Much easier on your A/C system too. A few degrees cooler for recirculating the air will extend the life of it.
I'm jealous of the owner of that land. Would love to build my house in a remote location like that.
I think it is very cool you take some time to hook the young man up with pulpwood good on you
Chris loading pulpwood express= Farm Simulator log loader king, lol. That last load was definitely a DOT test. Great video Chris.
Totally have to admit, I watched your videos and watched you digging trees out and then pushing them over stump attached, then bucking them. I tried it and it’s the easiest technique by far. Use it all the time.
Leverage man. Archimedes would be proud.
Ocean View Tree Services thats called the Andrew Camarata manuever
You are one smooth operator, like the tint. Thanks for the video.
Nice job man. You are good at what you do. Nice tint job also I put 5% on all but my windshield and your right that big window wow what a job. Our situation is a lot alike. My grandfather started the company 30 year ago and passed in 2011 and then my uncle started running it.
Love the way you can just fold those trees up to make a neater pile.
Nice video, glad to see you back on the Volvo. 😉👍
You keep doin all that loggin and you might get with Tim and borrow his feller buncher....lol. Love the videos. I wish I had that stick control.
Look like you've got a well organised operation going on there dude. Always good to see. Nice job 👍

It's nice of you to let Zack make some money with the pulpwood 1 hand washes the other!!!
Totally agree he will be there for Chris if he needs help that's what it's all about
You're absolutely right! He lays the trees out perfectly for bucking and then comes back and loads Zack's truck. I'm thinking he's just a softie at heart.
Thank you for the great working video Chris it's awesome!!!
thanks for taking us to work today mate
I like the way you operate their Feller always ready for the next move reminds me of me
I have a 39 Komotsu dozer that I just had tinted with 5% on every window and I love it. I have absolutely no glare and ZERO problems seeing out of them!!!! if you tint the front window with 20% also you will be just fine.
The tinting is certainly gonna help out a lot
Good job with the tint.
You should get the gyeon ceramic coating finish applied to the paint and windows on all your equipment. It's a hydrophobic sacrificial layer that lasts a long time. It's way better than rain-x.
Very good operator! Fun to watch!
You can buy a reflective tint that won't let the heat in and stays perfectly clear not fuzzy.
Very good job you done Chris and the other guy on 160 volvo
Man you really need to stop this nonsense. You making this look so easy all these greenhorns are going to be out buying trackhoes lol
Wow, that Cat excavator cab was noticeably quieter than the Volvo!
Cotton top would be proud lol logging the letsdig way
Your like cotontop3 loading logs. Just great job on the tent. And if you like thats all that counts. LATER
We also offer surgically removed vines! Vines drive me nuts when I cut a tree down and it's all entangled in the tree.
This site is great for videos, a lot of different actions!
....13
I used to live not far from you Chris, in Holly ridge when I was in the Marine Corp from 96-04
It may just be the camera but it looks like it's easier to see with the tint on the windows then with out.
Awesome clearing as always! It sounded like Zach said he fixed "The Pulpwood Express," did that include some wipers?
michelinman 8592 I had to put a transmission in it last week but yes it does have windshield wipers now lol. I got caught in a bad rain storm loaded and almost hit someone so I went right then and got some arms from the salvage yard then new wipers
That was some thick forest!
This is some serious talent for sure,, super impressed.. AAA+++
If I were the owner, I would have an access road cut the the back acreage cleared for privacy.
Dang no ride along video in the log truck? The last time I about died laughing 😂
i like the little ford i have one just like it but its a dump truck
I can why so busy does your videos help you get jobs have you been working that year long clearing job nice video there Chris
Great chip wood!! 😋
come down you can have it all for free!
This is amazing work!
Good job letsdig18 lache pas!
Yeah Chris going to make ct3 jealous! Good video buddy and where you at ?
What's really funny is one Guy could do both Lots in one day but I guess wherever their from they take their sweet ass time
How many tons of wood does that truck usually carry. I have no idea how much wood weighs.
Zach here. It will haul just over 8 tons legally. Its not fast but it gets the job done. Hauled 5 loads off that job in the last 3 days and got another load on the truck for Monday.
Dang that truck is a hauler. Thanks for the response Zach.
It does good for what it is. Was a bucket truck prior to me getting it.
TAWZace Hey Zach if you up your License weight to 40k lbs.you can haul a lot more raw logs to market in NC and get the commodity specific exemption, but that would be a lot of weight for that little truck. This is the first time I’ve noticed the two tabs that stick out in the middle of the thumb cylinder on the 220. What are they for?
When we going to see that new Volvo.
After being on that CAT he may have changed his mind. 😃
He showed it last week...
I believe the video released on the 7th was just a teaser, he didn’t revel what model he bought.
Mark Little bit we did see it though
He’ll tell us tomorrow. 🤭
Chris, how much will a truck load of pulpwood this size bring a the mill ?
I really like that dozer rake. Did you all build it yourself, or did you buy it somewhere?
bought the rake and then added the grill guard to the top
letsdig18, you did a nice job! The rake looks like it came with it.
Its so much easier without the rain and wet soil.
It may be best not to tint front screen.
On a big clearing job where you burn everything why do you not use a forestry mower?
What excavators do you have I know the 220, 160, Yanmar and the old tecuchi but other then the new one is there any more?
Hey Chris, what type of drone do you have? I just purchased a Phantom 4 and hope to get some good footage with it soon.
Which do you prefer standing trees or stumps
Cotontop3 is going to be mad with you, for putting him out of business! LOL
Cotton-top will have a trip over this
I think this is what my teacher called a symbiotic relationship lol i guess i remembered 1 fancy word from school
U guys don't have tiltable buckets we use kobelco excavators
Have you seen the window tints in Las Vegas and Phoenix az?
Hey chris, how do you add a passcode to the 220?
Have you guys ever considered a mulching head, don't know if that would save time or not
So is this the new loader then? So confused about that!
Looks like that bucket is getting sloppy.
Look at the boom cylinders
Great video 👍
How do you go about charging someone to clear a home site
Where are you located to hire you? I love watching your videos.
Where do you get the window tint? I would love to get some for my machine
ebay
Who's the Boss of this outfit? dude. and how does the work come in because you never seem to be out of jobs to do, likewise with the Done I bought mine last Xmas and fear smashing it into something
What does a project like that cost?
Sounds like you weren't flying your drone high enough.
Make a vid of you driving that white truck
those trees push out too easy and very little roots on them. you should come here and try that. won't be so easy
LKSimbalvr where’s here?
you could be so more effective with a tilt and rotator. have you ever consider...?
ive considered how often it would be broke using it for this type of work
when you try it you will never leave it....
/swede
Oh noes, you killed the twins...
Is that Stevies log truck?
Is that a scratch on the boom just in front of the light? I hope not, that would be unacceptable....
Gabe Smith looks like bird shit lol
@letsdig18 does the tint help with keeping it cooler in the cab?
it feels like it does
You should just buy some cheap logging equipment
do ya wanna sell that log truck ?
did the owner sell the tree's? or did you guys take them as part of payment?
no value in timber here all trash
Making rather large tooth picks outta trees.
Can you make it 4k?
I want that log truck
Just don't tell anybody I operate a cat Mini LOL
I thought this might have been a new piece of equipment debut video. Slow production and all you still probably moved more wood than those Indiana boys.
Brian Webber Stevie's gonna learn today!
It seems to me, with the amount of lot clearing you do, that y’all need to invest in a feller-buncher. Just sayin’
👍👍
Chris, do you bid the jobs or your uncle?
my uncle
