@@BrandonHeat243 W can be used in red ticket stages tho, but still we dont really use her for anti-air utility, but more of her stun debuff which i think is better than rosmo if we talk about their differences.

Sure they both deal splash damage but the fact that Rosmontis can't even hit drones with any of her skills makes her less reliable compared to W S3
Rosmontis is good but only to a certain extent when being compared to W

i never understand why some operators have downgrades in base skill when getting e2
right? I can't use Aak, and Dusk with the R6 because of their E2'd base skill...

@@JovanKK when Dusk is assigned in the control center with the R6 ops, she Dusk drains her morale, while Aak drains the R6's morales.

W is my go-to operator when I'm playing annihilation and MO stages along side with Ifrit, her S2 is so fun and satisfying if the timing RNG was right,
Annihilation x Timing is the worst combination in this game. 15 minutes play I would want as many AFK skill as possible. Thorn, Fiammetta, Ifrit skill 2, pioneer vanguard s1 rather than shitty babysitting Myrtle.
As veteran doctor and as someone who have her when release, I REALLY RECOMMEND YOU TO BUILD HER! Seriously, your annihilation will be so much easier with her well not all BUT MOST OF THEM BECOME EASIER
Not to mention her stun can do animation cancel if the timing is right, as general use skill i recommend to build her S2, her S3 can be tricky at timing but the damage output just 👌👌👌

Was hoping for NTR knight but got NTR'd by W instead. Honestly happy with the result considering my friend is crying with his pot 3 flametail
Even outside Annihilations her S2 can close off whole map sections all by itself. M3 it and add a certain narcoleptic owl for overkill area denial...

Some notes not covered in the video, as well as some clarifications/corrections:
1) Against a solo target, W's S2M3 is capable of outputting equivalent damage to a rapid-fire sniper that isn't using their skill. If W is able to hit just two targets, she exceeds a rapid-fire sniper even if their skill is up. There are some exceptions, of course. Most obvious ones being Exusiai S3M3 and Ash S2M3. This unique quirk of W's can come in handy in certain situations.
2) W's skills all apply their stun before calculating damage. This means that her skills all automatically have an 18% (21% with potential) damage amp applied to them, always.
3) W's module, while still really good, causes a lot of confusion for players who don't understand the game's math (they think it does more than it does). Her module is a %ATK modifier, which means it is calculated multiplicatively with the %ATK modifier of her equipped skill. For example, take her S2 (the most used skill for her). That 280% ATK modifier at M3, when combined with the module, only increases to 308%. That's still an extra 28% damage scaling, which is nothing to scoff at (the resulting value is then fed through her talent's damage amp, btw).
4) Further clarification on her S2. When no enemy is within her attack range, she places the mine randomly on any available tile (tile must be capable of accepting an operator deployment). If there _is_ an enemy within her attack range, she will _always_ place the mine on that enemy. If there are _multiple_ enemies within her attack range, she will place the mine according to her AI's attack priority (which is basic priority like most operators, whatever enemy is closest to reaching its exit point). If the enemy she wants to place the mine under is on a tile that is unavailable for deployment (blocked tile, something already deployed there, etc), then she will place the mine randomly on one of the eight surrounding tiles.
5) Further clarification on her S3. The health priority is absolute health value, not percentage remaining. If the target dies before the bomb's countdown completes (happens often if you're deploying her to clear trash waves), the bomb on that dying enemy will instantly detonate regardless of remaining countdown duration. This often results in her bombs chain detonating, which is incredibly satisfying to witness every time it happens.
6) Regarding mastery. Don't bother with S1, it's an extremely niche skill and not worth worrying about until you're ready to M9 her. Both S2 and S3 have breakpoints (mastery level that results in a particularly strong improvement) at M1. For S2, the M1 breakpoint reduces the SP cost by 1. For S3, the breakpoint adds a fourth bomb. Past that, you just push them to M3.
7) To correct a bit of incorrect information in the video, specifically RIIC skill 1. She always grants +30% training speed. However, if training an M3, you also apply the +65% _additively_ for a total +95% training speed increase. This is why her RIIC skill 2 features the morale consumption increase, because she almost halves the mastery training duration. Skills training for M3 take 24 hours (real world time) to complete, however with her, they only take 13 hours and 12 minutes.
You seem like someone that can answer whether I should choose between getting Fiammetta and W 😆 I’m leaning towards W because Fia’s S3 doesn’t seem to outperform Horn in most situations (who I plan to get) - and also Fia’s S2 seems to have a similar purpose as W’s S3 except with less qualities to it?
@@YoderTan They're fairly different operators, serving different purposes. I would argue that W is stronger, but there's things that Fiammetta can do that W can't.
Additionally, it's not really a "choice" on which you get, since W is limited. She can only be obtained on full anniversary banners, either through extremely low roll chance or via 300 roll spark (which costs 180,000 orundum, or to put in real money terms, ~$550 USD). Whereas Fiammetta is a normal operator, obtained from any banner's 6-star pull, and in a year or so will be available via the yellow cert shop.
Right, I have enough pulls that W being a limited spark character isn’t a concern. Guess I hoped to be able to make a clear choice between them but apples and oranges like you said 😔
Her skill 2 can mess up auto deploy , I just realized this when use her in annihilation. But you can avoid this problem if you deploy her last and place some operator in the tiles that you don't want her to place the mine.

Still one of my favorite Limited Operator other than Rosmontis due to being actual new Story rather than Alters.

Her S2M3 is just amazing to use in general for any stage, it's too damn good. It makes almost every Anni easy thx to her. Now with S3M3, you can destroy a group of enemies when they all move together or when they all spawn and chill as a group, just use S3 and boom, they all get obliterated.
Best part is that she's one of the best grills for me, she's great. If you can spark her in the NTR banner, you will never regret doing that.
I'm super happy that I got her randomly from a pull during this banner. Sadly Nearl took 312 pulls, tho. But that means I also got Rosmontis from the shop lol.
Now I have absolutely nothing left for any banners in the near future but eh ... Got limited Ops I thought I'd never get.
The 1.5 second explode delay is a double edge blade.
While yes one enemy could trigger 2 or 3 mines but the delay also good because it wouldn't be wasted if one enemy is faster than others
Ah yes, this remind me of using potato mine in Plants vs Zombies, it exploded immediately when there was a zombie faster than others and ruined my wave clear plan 🤣

Her L2D animation was so freakin... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
W's second skill makes her the queen of Annihilation maps. Her super long range (extended by mine AOE explosion) and regular downtime between waves means she easily deals the most damage during the map, quite often spawnkilling entire waves or most of the wave's enemies. Enemies can barely even move because they get chain stunned by the carpet of mines she makes between waves.
Not to forget her mines count as traps, meaning you can use her (for example in the new anni) to trigger grammophones or those elemental healing stations. I prefer her s2, but her new module mainly helps her s3, m aybe I will finally bring it up from m1 to m3. All in all she fullfills all my aoe sniper needs.

@@aminregend9173 To be honest I have no clue how much pulls you'd have after 6 months of saving. You can try and hope for the best you'll get lucky next time. Also it will be extremely hard to not have the urge to pull Ling 3 months from now. All I can say is good luck, hope you get what you want next time.

I want to build W so hard, but the problem is I still can't bring her home till this day, that's all. Well, I still haven't play this game for a whole year, so I'm sure along the way, I'll bring her home. I don't know when will that happen, though

edit: If you wanna go above and beyond to build a stunning team. Operators like Mudrock, NTR, Rosmontis, Texas, Siege, Phantom, Projekt Red and more also have some capability to stun to maximize that damage.
If only Ash and Blitz came home for me during the Rainbow Six Collab, maybe someday they'll rerun it. Or the Capcom collab has a stunner.

There should be another limited banner somewhere during summer break with one of these china related operators like nian and dusk so maybe it'd be a good idea to save for that one

Love the vids! One suggestion though: I'm not sure if it's just me, but I think certain operators are just fine at E1 max lvl. I think you can add more detail specifics to some operators at could work just fine without fully building them/building them up to that point for the time being.
Honestly, I feel like W is in a weird spot where she tries to do both cc and high damage, but isn't the best at neither of them. I wish her module focused more on burst (like Fiammetta) or something more focused on utility like: reduce her sp per stun (something similar to suzuran's one) to spam more her skills, or give some sort of debuff after using a skill
I can testify that W is really really good. As an old player, I have almost all ops and I still like to bring W along.
In terms of overall/general stage usefulness, I would rate her slightly below thorns - around blaze's level
Excuse me sir i still couldn't buy the 6star selector. I also already trying to fix google issue many times and it still didn't work. Is that normal? I can purchase other packs, the only one i can't buy is the 6star selector.
Her and Hoshi were some of my first 6* and have been the core of my team since I started.

Tried to beat the 30% odds for either her and Rosmontis with my f2p currency. That 30% was against all 18 of my 10 rolls.

Another issue with s2 is that the mines can only appear on deployable tiles. Some maps that really restrict low ground deploy spots shut it down hard.

I spent 150 bucks and all my saved up orundum on the NTR banner to buy her in the shop. Really think this is one of the most fun operators in the game and important in the story. Couldn't resist.
After about 150 pulls from the her debut banner, 300 pulls from the previous limited banner. Finally, after 220 pulls this banner, I've finally get her for once.

And I got them using the free pulls because I spent all my savings on fartooth (and got her after I spent everything… seriously she avoided me like 3 times) and I really love W so I’m happy I got her too!

I was so damn close of getting her.... I just spent literally everything I had left on the banner, then in the last 10 pull I got 2 6 stars (never thought it would happen to me), the first one was a NTR knight dupe ( really wanted Flametail but for some reason, my luck is always super good for the limited but it sucks for other 6 star, I also got Skalter and Chalter(Got like 2 dupes just from the 14 daily pulls) pretty quickly but in none of those banners got the other 6 star) and the next one was Rosmontis....I don't hate her but W is the character I like the most in the entire game and that was probably the closest I was ever going to be of getting her.
Well you can hoard materials to get her on specter alter banner but it will brobably be like 6 months til it reaches global

so I’m a new player and I got rosmontis a few days ago and w just now. Should I find a way to fit both into my team or prioritize one over the other? Snipers/ranged in my team are currently exusiai, ceobe, rosmontis, and suzuran (sometimes swapped out for projekt red/gravel)
I tried saving for her after dossoles where i went broke for chalter (i got her)

Very. AKIRA But Kitten basically only has three issues - high DP cost (common with ranged AoEs), her first two skills have kinda shit gains from Masteries, and she can't do squat about aerial targets.
Those caveats aside she's gr8. PROTIP if you have both her AND W: overlap their fire zones and giggle as Ros S2 triggers W's passive.

How does her module work? So when attacking blocked enemies, she only gets an additional 10% damage or she deals 110% more damage?
