I did this once in nhl 19 i got like over 100 draft picks and after for the next 10 years of the sim I couldn't give anybody a entry level deal, so all of my first round picks went to free agency.

I drafted in the sixth round... Got a defensemen (48 overall) with medium elite potential. In three season he’s now 89 overall

Banger video! I’d like to see some more bingo however. But I think u can rework it to be better. Have more creative spaces to cover like I’ve seen in fifa. U could have funny names, certain teams, countries, a certain overall (like u already have) and so much more. It would be awesome in my opinion.

You should continue this for 5 years and watch the prospects grow and spend a ton in free agency. Cup or bust but make it a 5 year run
I actually did this in NHL 19. I had a crazy roster with like 20 medium elite players and like 25 medium top 6 players so their value was pretty high. I traded away all the prospects and players who didn't produce well enough. I had simmed like 15 years so the year was like 2033 or 2034. When i had gotten all the 1st round picks I still had an nhl roster full of 84-93 rated players with great potential and my ahl team was stacked with elite and top 6 potential players too. It was just before NHL 20 came out so unfortunately I didn't get the chance to play with this team. Sorry for making this comment so long, just felt like I needed to share this story so I could grow my ego and flex on fellow Franchise mode grinders

One thing I notice is almost every year I. NHL 20 the worst team always falls to four in the draft. And if you think about it I guess it happened in real life too! A lot

The prospect pick reserve is 30max. If the game crashes its becauses you endend up the draft with too much prospect
How do you boost prospects like Mercer is supposed to go 12 but goes in the 2nd round how do I boost so he’s higher in rating and is more realistic
Trading for every first round pick would certainly help keep things accurate to real life once the 2020 draft actually happens. At least in regards to the first round

The Bill Masterton Actually goes to someone who persevered and still played i the real world, ie Brian Boyle Had Cancer, Lehner didn't win it but his son had cancer he got nominated
Year 3 after this draft would be awful. You'd basically lose 3/4 of your team

Use a full 99 high franchise team and see what happens when you try to get every pick in the draft if possible

In NHL18 I made a franchise and in the last years I got every pick in the draft... I simulate the draft and the game stop working after this
