Vasiliev is the best instructor of balance manipulation. More power to you.

at 3:13 he throws the guy and then actually gets "cut" on the arm, AMAZING sensitivity and training to turn the blade off. Very awesome!

I like how he just disarmed a single man with a knife and everyone else just started leaping on to attack him.

Мне очень нравится его стиль ведения боя. Если кто располагает информацией о проведении семинаров в России-поделитесь, буду признателен.

No attacker will attack so slowly with no aggression. Especially if they know what they're doing. This systema seems to be good only for the show.

its a training video... done slowly so the students understand how the movement works. done at full speed it is designed to break an opponents joints and body! how fast would the gym empty if you smashed every student up? also what would they learn?

Thats the problem. Its dryswiming only. It doesnt matter how well you dryswimm you will always have problems if you dont know the water.
Every Martial art that works hast the phases: Drylandswimming, Airbags for swimming and Swimming.
The goal is to spend as much time swimming as possible. Doing it slow on land is NOT swimming.
If vladimir would beat me in a fight - would that prove something? No. Why? Because he could have get his fightingskills throu boxing etc. But there is no proof systema is effective for fighting.
Oh the specnaz use it !!! No, they use boxing and grappling in full contact. and... oh wonder .... they shoot ppl with guns an knifes.
Its all marketing im sorry. but vladimir seems like a very nice guy.

If you dont know the principles, have trained in systema with a real instructor or you havent attacked vlad in your life then shut up you dont know whats going on, its easy to say "in real life..."
