As for him pardoning, technically he legally can do that. I’ve been watching a lot of LegalEagle videos and he explains everything that has been going on, very interesting information and I’d recommend everyone watch some of his videos.
He may grant his children and certain close known supporters, but there are rioters who think they should be pardoned for violating constitutional and federal law because he asked them to be there. I don't see any of the people being charged for their actions at the Capitol building getting a presidential pardon.
