Wow, I totally DID forget about Camacho! I can't even remember if I knew he was Tonga Loa or not. My first major memories of him were in NJPW as Guerillas of Destiny with Tama Tonga .
It's kinda sad how many of the women of that era have been completely forgotten. But it's understandable, since they were never presented as serious competitors or pushed to develop their wrestling skills or gimmicks. Even some multi-time Divas Champions, like Eve Torres, I haven't heard anyone even mention her name in like 10 years. Same with Layla. Her entire solo career (which was pretty long) has been forgotten. She's only really remembered these days as part of LayCool (which Michelle clearly carried). Btw, you can also add literally every winner of Tough Enough--both male and female--since they brought it back in the 2010s. They were all so shit they never even debuted.
Taryn Terell vs Gail Kim Last Knockout Standing match in TNA is my favorite women's match and one of my favorite matches period. I'm glad she saw some success in her career.
Prior to his run as Caylen Croft in WWE between 2008 and 2010, Kris Pavone also had a brief run in WWE as Cris Cage between 2003 and 2006, wrestling on WWE's then developmental territory OVW. During this time, he was also put in a tag team and became mentor of a sorts of newcomer Mike Mizanin, better known in later years and today as The Miz. Following his final departure from WWE in 2010, Pavone became a high school teacher.
I remember Lucky Cannon is the guy that was always expressing his love for Maryse and she would always turn him down, but it's a shame that they never attempted to do some type of short term storyline then involved the Miz, Maryse, and Lucky Cannon
Ryan Braddock, Aiden O'Shea, Jay Bradley or whatever you want to call him is today best known for being the person who talked his very good real life friend, musician Billy Corgan, to invest into professional wrestling. Now going by his ring name Jay Bradley, he is under contract with National Wrestling Alliance, owned by Corgan, as in-ring talent and also lead backstage producer
I remember most of them very well. Especially Manu ( how would it be possible to forget The Legacy ?... ) , Escobar, Ricky Ortiz ( mainly because there's a song in my country that would've fit his character to perfection and would've made a perfect entrance theme because of it. The chorus of the said song is literally saying what he was doing during his entrance, as the chorus says " and we're making the napkins spin " , which is a song mostly played in family parties like weddings and all, encouraging people to spin the napkins in the air exactly like Ortiz was doing, while sitting at the table. Because of this, I think of him every time I hear that song, so I'll never forget him. 😅 ) , and Tiffany ( which as a big TNA fan from 2008 to 2015 I could hardly forget considering she had a very good run there ) . The only ones I don't remember are Lucky Cannon ( hadn't even ever heard of him, which makes sense considering I've never watched this old formula of NXT ) , Caylen Croft ( I have zero memories of him, I barely even Baretta... remember only the name but not the face, wouldn't be able to tell which is which ) , and Courtney Taylor and Vance Archer which I had never heard of. Except those 4, I remember all the others very well. Gotta say though, there's been so many people in the PG era that we never heard about after they got released ( not in WWE and TNA at least ) . Abraham Washington and Yoshi Tatsu, seen in the video, are perfect examples. Most of the ECW roster to be honest ( Marcus Cor Von, Colin Delaney, Kevin Thorn, The Zombie... ) . As well as some others, like Rosa Mendes, Jillian Hall, Evan Bourne, Alex Riley, Savannah, DH Smith, Kozlov, Ezekiel Jackson, Primo, Epico, Michael Tarver... There's just so many that people could've easily forgot about.
Sim Snuka should also be on this list. Sure, alot of people still remember his run as part of Deuce n Domino tag team. But, his eventual run as Sim Snuka, alongside Manu, was a total disaster.
The only vague memory I had of Ryan Braddock was him getting packed up by Jesse and Festus around the time WWE was hyping up SmackDown moving to MyNetwork TV.
@@christopherbaker9676 I'm not American actually, so I don't really know that much about the network circuit there. But Wikipedia tells me that MyNetwork is a Fox-owned syndication service that carried SmackDown for two years after it left The CW in 2008 and before it moved to Syfy in 2010.
Tonga Loa/Camacho also played Sin Cara character for a brief time and has been confirmed to have made few TV appearances as Sin Cara in between two regular Sin Cara performers.
Lance Archer also appeared in TNA between 2004 and 2009 as Lance Rock and was one third of Rock n Rave Infection stable, along with Jimmy Rave and Christie Hamme..
Caylen Croft had all the talent of this world to make it big. And Dudebusters were a very promising tag team at one point. However, the problem was that it was obvious from start that Trent Barretta was always the star of the team and that Croft was seen more as an sidekick in the whole thing. This is very evident even today in 2024, where Barretta is a very strong mid card tag team act as one half of Best Friends tag team, while Croft has long been retired and long forgotten by now.
Most women from that era are forgotten because they couldn't wrestle! It doesn't matter if they would've come along years later. They would still have to wrestle. Not just be eye candy
knowing what we know now, the divas search has taken on a whole different feeling when watching those segments. they were basically johnny ace providing a conveyor belt of victims to vince.
Manu has a good reason to comeback, a storyline to join the bloodline and attack Cody/Orton for him being outed from Legacy. I don't know, my inner booker lol
Supposedly, at first, WWE had huge hopes and plans for Eric Escobar, even trying to replace Edge with him in La Familia storyline at one point. However, despite having alot of in-ring talent undoubtedly and being more then decent on the mic, it was just not meant to be. He was simply pushed way too hard way too fast and he was simply not ready for main event scene. Soon, WWE simply gave up on the whole idea.
Also, what ruined Escobar's chances were persistant rumors that at the time he was having an affair with high ranking woman in WWE management and that she was the reason he got such a push. However, it was never revealed who this woman was, if any of it was even true, but all of that ruined Escobar's chances of making it big in WWE.
It’s TARYN Terrell, and if you basically weren’t around for the 2010 Summerslam. You missed out on something special. Not really forgotten cause she ended up going to TNA and retiring a few years ago in NWA Ricky Ortiz is married to Layla, and own their own business in Arizona, somewhere. Why are you getting these names mixed up 😂😂😂. Bradley is in NWA now Lance/Vance Archer/Hoyt was one of the first few TNA wrestlers to make the jump. KAZ, a few years earlier, and then everyone knows about Braden Walker/Chis Harris. Lance lasted longer than the other two. Before, being released and now working AEW and the indies
I thought Andy would include Kizarny in this list. I guess we all remember him although his brief WWE run. On the other hand... Rebecca Dipietro was so hot that I blame I forgot such a beauty. 😂😂😂😂
Maybe some of these guys didn't have the faith of Vince McMahon because they couldn't vomit on cue, like Darren Drosdov did, leading to his WWE hiring (watch the DVD "Beyond The Mat" for context).
That's the thing. Vance Archer, Trent Baretta and Caylen Croft don't stand out from the pack, are too generic and vanilla. They needed to change their look and do things to get the fans' attention.
The PG era had no stars, at all. The PG era facilitated a complete demographic switch from the Ruthless Aggression era. The WWE has been dead from 2006. Hopefully when McMahon gets federal charges the WWE is finally put out of its long misery forever.
I feel like I already knew about these people from previous videos that were on this channel so next time can you give me some names and faces I’ve never seen or heard up before thank you
During the weekend of the 2010 summerslam, Taryn and Drew attended a party. Taryn had a bit too much to drink and accused Drew of something. Drew tried deescalating the situation. Taryn ended up hitting Drew multiple times. Since, they were both in town promoting the event. WWE saw fit to suspend her. Til further investigation was done. She returned and the two were suppose to be involved in a storyline together. But, got she released and they gave it Kelly Kelly(Taryn’s friend and tag partner att) instead.

Lucky Cannon sounds like a name of a spell or trap card in Yu-Gi-Oh.
What is a yu gi oh ? Sounds silly
Wow, I totally DID forget about Camacho! I can't even remember if I knew he was Tonga Loa or not. My first major memories of him were in NJPW as Guerillas of Destiny with Tama Tonga .
Taryn Terell is active in the running/obstacle course race community. I've seen her at a few events.
She also had a match of the night in TNA when she fought Gail Kim in a "Last-Woman-Standing Match".
She retired a few years ago, and now is fitness modeling again.
Tonga Loa teamed up with Jimmy Uso in FCW around 2009

Tonga Loa. TONGA Loa, he’s Tongan, not Samoan.
I used to have a toy of Trent Barreta because I traded something for it at school. I had NO IDEA WHO HE WASSSS
I hunted for that figure for years as a kid and never found it. Trent was my guy, lmao. Still is actually, following his career introduced me to NJPW.
The only thing Vance Archer (besides AEW) will be remembered for was his appearance in Smackdown VS Raw 2011.
Dear God, that quality menu music along with Luke Gallows' theme and Shad Gaspard's theme.
He will also be remember for his K.E.S tag team with Davey Boy Smith Jr 3 time IWGP Tag Team Champions.

Um … he was Lance Hoyt in TNA. So …
