@@Tha.Sritoh4 well, I should say that as much as I love this scene, it is incredibly dramatized and not too historically accurate. but historical inaccuracy aside, it’s a cinematic masterpiece. props to James Cameron!
@@ss-united-states-my-beloved I made the comment as a joke, while yes the scene is somewhat inaccurate, it's a 50/50. some people say that something like that happened while others said it didn't or it was different. We sadly do not have enough info on this yet, perhaps we never will. What we do know is that the song was a proper deo of Near My God To Thee, as there is enough back up proof to claim it but the same can be said for the normal version of the song. The scene is somewhat accurate because at first, Titanic had a port list and then it became a straight line for about 5 or so minutes and so and kept listting(grammar) to port side . The wreck if looked close enough, is listed to port slightly. So the movie got almost everything right. The fate of Captain Smith still remains a mystery that has no answer whatsoever, but he most likely went down with the ship. some crew members did as well maybe. for more detail on this, I suggest watching Titanic Honor And Glory Dev team real time sinking animation, as of almost the entire sinking is based upon survivors claims and proofs written on docs or stuff back then to recreate to almost a 97.6% historically accurate sinking. some parts are notes from different survivors Povs, which helps understand a somewhat idea of what happened.
