My dad played in the Michigan marching band, and was as diehard a Wolverine as they come. But he was full of admiration for the "Script Ohio" number no matter how many times he saw it.
Thank you for such an awesome commentary on the Ohio State Marching Band. As a retired Texas band director who spent 41 years in the profession I have been an admirer of the OSU Band for many years and I click on every video that promotes that organization. I love all of their traditions especially those that they have chosen to maintain for many years and even the goofy ones. It is such “bandness!” Anyway, thank you again and keep up the great work!
Thank you for your kind words. We're just getting into showcasing different college football traditions at different universities, and this one is by far the most storied of just about any school.
Thank you, my friend, for saying it like it is! I remember a lot of Saturdays listening to games on the radio or watching them later on TV :-) thank you sir :-)
Great video! College football hands down has the best tradition of any sport. Lifelong fan of the Bucks, learned something new. The last time I saw Script Ohio in Ohio Stadium was back in 2006 when then #1 OSU took on #2 Michigan. 2 of my family members have been in the band, neither dotted the “i” as very few do. I’ll go check out some other vids

Respect from an Ohio State fan.
