Is there a way to take the smell out of the oil after you strain it? Let’s say I cooked fish and I would like to take that taste out. Any suggestions? I heard of frying some limes or mix the oil with water and baking soda. Any of these next steps would be beneficial or just straining it is good enough. I will probably use the oil next to cook fish too. Thanks for the video
Denise, Normally when I fry fish I usually add some russet potatoes sliced in to quarters to help absorb some of the fish taste and smell. Please let me know if this helps.
That came out incredibly clean! Really like that double filtering trick

@AbbasCarwala the paper towels that I use are Bounty, but most paper towels are two ply. I hope that this information was helpful.

The oil wasn't that dirty. If really dirty, use cornstarch and water. Fry in the oil and it absorbs all debris.
Thanks for the tip I’ll try it next time
