    Lyrics:
He was always such a nice boy
    The quiet one
    With good intentions
He was down for his brother
    Respectful to his mother
    A good boy
    But good don't get attention
    One kid with a promise
    The brightest kid in school
    He's not a fool
Reading books about science and smart stuff
    It's not enough, no
Cause smart don't make you cool, whoa
    He's not invisible anymore
With his Father's 9 and a broken fuse
Since he walked through that classroom door
    He's all over primetime news
Mary's got the same size hands
    As Marilyn Monroe
She put her fingers in the imprints
    At Manns Chinese Theater Show
She coulda been a movie star
Never got the chance to go that far
    Her life was stole
    Now we'll never know

I ended up in prison due to being bullied at school.
I ran into the main one in my mid 20s while working on a house which turned out to be 2 doors down from his new address.
This guy pretty much physically and mentally tortured me at school (and out of school as he lived across the street from me) with his friends.
He tried to bully me again, but I was a very different person at that point and I nearly beat him to death with a ratchet.
I got 4 years in prison for that and it ruined my life…..I suffer from CPTSD because of that guy and his friends.
What I did to him didn’t make me feel any better.
I’m now hitting 40 and haven’t been able to work for the past 8 years due to PTSD symptoms, anxiety disorder and severe depression.
I also had a heroin addiction as a direct result of what these people did to me all those years ago.

Now I don't take any 🤬 from anybody.
3 Bullies over a 6 year period. And they made me the way I am today.
Although I'll say this. One of the 3 of them did GROW UP and admitted to me how horrible the way he treated me. And he did actually apologize to me sincerely. So at least one of them grew up. The other 2 though they are still A-HOLES. Heck as far as one of the other 2 are concerned he didn't even do anything wrong.

      +Pap Swap SO WELL WRITTEN.
Besides Mandy, there is lots of healing music in our day and age if you just look beyond radio or mainstream. (even there, I wouldn't be such a snob to reject all of it. E.g. Tove Lo's "high" is surprisingly hearbreaking, and Sia's "Breathe Me" is shaking, and Coldplay's "Fix you"... I could go on and on)

I used to fight bullies In school. I had built up anger from seeing my dad beat on my mom and my family used to bully me then I got bullied in elementary and middle school once I got to high school I started fighting people that was messing with other people. This song brings me back to the memory of my best friend, first friend I made in high school. It was the end of grade 12 and we were at the end of finals. I walked into school to find one of those dollarstore construction paper cardboard paper posted at the front doors with her name on it. She took her life and I still to this day don't know why. Everyone remember that those who chose to go will most likely go in silence. We must be a voice for those who had none. Rip Ashley Maria Duffenais. That was one of the hardest and most life changing times for me. I won't ever forget it. I was so bloody heart broken.

    "Stole"
He was always such a nice boy
    The quiet one
    With good intentions
He was down for his brother
    Respectful to his mother
    A good boy
    But good don't get attention
    One kid with a promise
    The brightest kid in school
    He's not a fool
Reading books about science and smart stuff
    It's not enough, no
Cause smart don't make you cool, whoa
    He's not invisible anymore
With his Father's 9 and a broken fuse
Since he walked through that classroom door
    He's all over primetime news
Mary's got the same size hands
    As Marilyn Monroe
She put her fingers in the imprints
    At Manns Chinese Theater Show
She coulda been a movie star
Never got the chance to go that far
    Her life was stole
    Now we'll never know
    No no no no oh
They were crying to the camera
    Said he never fitted in
    He wasn't welcomed
    He showed up the parties
    We was hanging in
    Some guys puttin' him down
    Bullying him round round
Now I wish I woulda talked to him
Gave him the time of day
    Not turn away
If I woulda been the one to maybe go this far
He might have stayed at home
Playing angry chords on his guitar
    He's not invisible anymore
With his baggy pants and his legs in chains
Since he walked through that classroom door
    Everybody knows his name
Mary's got the same size hands (Oh)
    As Marilyn Monroe
She put her fingers in the imprints (Ooh)
    At Manns Chinese Theater Show
She coulda been a movie star (She coulda been a movie star, oh)
Never got the chance to go that far
    Her life was stole
    Now we'll never know
    (Now we'll never know, oh)
Greg was always getting net from 20 feet away (20 feet away)
He had a try out with the Sixers
    Couldn't wait for Saturday (Saturday)
Now we're never gonna see him slam
    Flying high as Kobe can
    His life was stole (Stole)
    Oh now we'll never know
Now we'll never never never know
Mmm now we'll never never never never know

Mary's best friend knew she had gone in there and that's why she ran down the hall panic stricken. The rest of the video shows Mary's best friend haunted by the experience for a long time. The passage of time is conveyed by the arrival of the baby.

Looking back at my Jr High years I realize I was a bully. I once made fun of a classmate in front of the entire class and everyone continued to make fun of him after my stupid remarks. I wish I would have stayed quiet that day. The guy started being bullied by others because of me. It was so bad that he stopped coming to school one day, he had changed schools and we never saw him again. I remember his first name but I can’t remember his last name and I hope that I can find him some day and apologize for the pain my words caused. I thought I was being funny, and I did it at his expense. It is one of my biggest regrets. I am very sorry Santiago!

Kelly was always the most powerful singer and most beautiful (inside and out) from Destiny's Child... and she never got the recognition she deserves! Her songs were my childhood..... I mean dilemma? Stole? Jeez! Underrated!

The chorus to this song gives me goosebumps. This song is such a terrible reality of the world we all live in. Kudos, Kelly and whoever helped pen this gem.

I was bullied relentlessly in high school and this related to me so much. I genuinely thought about killing myself in high school but it thankfully never got that far. Please think about the weird outcasts at your school.

I made a real effort to do so as an outcast myself. I was 9 when Colombine happened. I knew then as a 3rd grader maybe if they had a good friend and no bullies they'd might not have done it. If me as a 9 year old kid saw it back in 1999, what is the admin of 2019 excuse? We have so much more to use to reach out if we try!

in terms of singing talent, Kelly is nothing special. she was in Destiny Child because of her looks.
the other two had other talents and Beyoncé sang better.
