I loved your reaction when you saw the fabric 🩷. wow that waves & wild dress would be amazing in the fabric .
I loved the box Andrea, thank you 😀 I've cut out last months fabric, so hoping to be able to share that with you this week. x
Welcome back, I’m sure you had a fab holiday but I’m happy to see your lovely face again 😎 I love the waves & Wild dress, not seen that one before! The Fleur dress could work well with long sleeves for autumn with a layer underneath 🥰 Looking forward to seeing what you brought back from holiday 😍🩷
Thanks Julie 😀 I'm hoping to release a video this week about my adventures in Florida, then I can wash all my fabric and start using it!! I've cut out the dress, so watch this space..... Can't wait to hear how your holiday went too. x
Very pretty colours, looks nice and drapey too
Thanks Clare, I'm hoping summer shows up again, so I can wear it if I get to make it up soon! x
Hi Mandy…welcome back after your Florida trip. Loved your unboxing…loved listening to you. I got the lighter colourway too…I’m still trying to decide what to make for Sewfizzteacated
Thank you Mel, it's just over a week ago now and feels like longer! I'd love to see what you are going to make x
I got the pink fabric just like you. It's so pretty and cheerful. I'm thinking I want a blouse this time, so since I have the larger box, that leaves lots of fabric for a simple skirt, and maybe I can even squeeze some elastic waist capris or shorts out of the scraps with a bit of creative pattern placement. From the last 2 boxes, I managed to get a short sleeve button-up shirt for my husband and a dress for me from each fabric. I actually have the Kinjarling cut from the boat and anchor fabric from a couple of boxes ago along with his shirt. My husband doesn't get to share this pink fabric though. Lol. Although he would tell me that he would wear it.
It is such a lovely fabric, it's also nice to have more options receiving the four metre box! I'm also glad this one is safe from your husband 😂. How did you find the pattern for the Kinjarling? I cut it out yesterday and was convinced I was missing a pattern piece for the back for about half an hour! Hoping to make a start on sewing it today at my sewcial.....🤞🏼
The Fleur dress…I’m trying to hold off from buying it….you mentioned it!!!!!
Sorry Mel! I should say a disclaimer at the start 😂 x
Aww that’s a lovely colourway huni. Haven’t received my Box yet but I am sure it’s on its way. Glad to see your back. Looking forward to seeing your purchases. Xxx Xxx
Thanks Michelle! I hope you like the colour way you got too 😀 looking forward to seeing you at the Scothern Sewcial xx
@@makeitsew2023 i can’t wait. Xxx
I just received the other color way but yours is also fabulous. I was thinking about the Marnie by Tilly and the Buttons or the Fringe dress by Chalk and Notch. The other thing I was thinking was a shirred back sundress but not sure of a pattern for something like that.
The fabric would look lovely in all of those patterns! The Siena dress by Sew Over It has a panel of shirring on the back 😀.
I received the other colourway but swapped for the pink, not too sure what I will make, maybe leave it until next spring
I really wanted to make it up straight away, but I think it may have to wait if the weather this week has anything to go by! It's so pretty isn't it?
