Vic Market renewal huh?!... Well you would've fooled me on that one?! I will admit that atleast in 2013 Vic Market was still barely decent back then and I use that terminology loosely here as from then the market has sunk beyond a pitfall of a shadow of it's former self. I've gone Vic Market since 1984 (via school excursions) but it really wasn't until late 1987 did I religiously start to go there twice a month (including Sunday hours included in 1990 as well!!!). So that's roughly 1987 to 2019 where i just couldn't stand it anymore after 3 decades! I've seen it all in those times and you guys (Melbourne City Council) have successfully destroyed it with O.P. rents and rules and regulations?! I understand getting rid of the farm animals aspect but everything else?!..Not only have you successfully have you ruined it's charm and have taken away everything that I knew and loved about it, you actively wanted to changed it into another crap mall (1980's malls were fine) or have a safe injecting house as well?!..I've known alot of business that have come and gone as well. But guess what, it's not you that gets to change anything anymore?! It's the pandemic that now calls the shots bet you never saw that coming?! Unfortunately because of Covid19 it really has sealed the fate of our market. Melbourne City Council started it the pandemic will finish it with the final nail in the coffin as well! Because I've had so many memories of going down there and the recent passing of my own mother in 2020! I've vowed not to taint nor destroy what better memories I have of this place as it is slowly snuffed out to death via the market I once loved...But you Melbourne City Council took it all away for the last 15 years has barely made impossible to ever return and I never will!!! I will start afresh somewhere new like Dandenong Market for some new memories should this pandemic hell ever end. Had to get this out of my chest!!!! Melbourne City Council!!! You've got some serious soul searching to do if you guys have any!!!!?!.....
