Disclosure* Marsblade sponsored this video and sent me the skates to do a review. I always give my honest feedback. I just baked them today so I'll report back how they feel. If you're interested in the skates visit marsblade.com/
Coach Jeremy i wish they were less expensive
TH_Ghost I didn't get if it is Verbero, but that's the price, and honestly, it is not the most expensive price for such boot, knowing what durability it can provide.
For sure, off the ice, I ride Powerslide Metropolis for 160€, they are very decent. On the ice - CCM RibCor 50K for 350€ - I am super pleased.
Maybe they are overpriced, but the materials they put in - they are expensive, that's for sure. You can buy a bike for 200, and you can buy for 4000. The difference is the good old stainless steel or carbon.
Where's the report after baking? thanks
Coach Jeremy did you find you had to go up half a size?
Another great video, keep up the great work 👍. The $430 price makes just the holder look like a rip off😅
I have the same issue with the ankles. I have baked them and it's still there. I will continue to use them some more to see if they break in better but for something brand new I would highly recommend getting a different boot.
Do a video about a cage vs fishbowl
Hey Jeremy. Can you make a video on how to get lift on a slap shot?
yeah that would be good
Apollo StRike hit the puck from the heel and follow through
Apollo StRike this guys are right do what they say it’s correct
Apollo StRike BrUH

Best in the Business Jeremy! Was waiting for your review before purchasing these, thanks again for all the great insight.
Can always pick out an ice skater when they call the frame of an inline skater the “holder” haha. Great vid bro. Cheers.
anyone watching this during quarantine waiting for them to come in
I am I’m got the 01 off ice blades
Do aggressive skates can play hockey? The ones that have 60mm wheels? Called USD AEON skates. Pls tell me if that can play hockey
Marsblade currently have some good deals on skates with frames and wheels. However only D width boots so no good for those of us whose feet are like flippers. ☹️
OK coach you can hockey stop with “Inline” skates (NOT ROLLERBLADE) but you must change the hardness of the wheels depending on the surface that you are skating on.
Coach jermey what's your favorite stick you have ever used?
I have a pair of mission Inhaler NLS5. Love them.. great skate for the money.
I like the setup of the blades to mimic skates. I remember had a pair of rollerblades I purchased about 25 years ago, it was a nice molded boot with clips to secure the boot, instead of laces. I didn't play hockey in them. Anyway I planned on going skating out on the roads and was concerned about picking up too much speed on steep downhills. So I purchased a cable braking system called The Grip. It wasn't that cumbersome, as I ran the cable behind knee pads and the Grip System had hand grips that you clip to your waist. The product only lasted a couple years, as it was kind of expensive, it wasn't that easy to install/adjust, as the braking system would stick a bit. I was wondering if any other product has been developed over the years to enable quick braking on roller blades.
Yeah a little bit out of my price range lol 😅 I live in Florida so I play roller hockey and I’m DESPERATE for new skates!
5:44 BARDOWNSKI’S 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
10 D...same here! Great advise as always
Coach Jeremy cant you make a video on rockerd inline skates?? it got the same feel as hockey skates (hints the name) smaller wheels in the front and back
Very Cool video. I played a few semi-pro inline tourneys years ago, and as a paid ringer for top tier beer leagues lol. I worked very hard at emulating the skating style of my fav ice players to achieve a powerful athletic smooth wide stride.
When I first transitioned to ice, I found myself slamming the blades on the ice while trying to explode off that first stride.
In inline hockey, the wheels acted like a suspension system, which I had learned to use to generate power. It took me a while to unlearn that, and learn how to use my skating style on ice and put power down. I wonder if this "rocker-tech" would have helped me, or other inline players transition to ice, the way it helps ice skaters feel more natural on inline skates.
I appreciate, Jeremy being honest regards Marsblade sponsoring his video and sending him the product. What I cant appreciate is Jeremy selling this B.S product. Marsblade pays all these Social Media personalities for their "endorsements" OR at minimum gives them free product. Before you purchase Marsblade, ask ANYONE that you know (personally) whom is a skilled on-ice hockey player (and is NOT sponsored by Marsblade) regards their opinion on Marsblade and no doubt you will hear that they feel NOTHING like being on-ice. The sizing is off from what Marsblade says. They are very heavy. The "rocker" makes you feel like youre on a skateboard (not on-ice). They are overpriced. Etc. I played in the OHL (lots of on-ice experience) got suckered into the Marsblade marketing, spent 400 sum dollars on them (during Covid lock-down) and what a waste. Comparatively spent $80 bux on the Bauer Vapor Roller-blades and though they too did not mimic the on-ice feel (Bauer, never said they would), they sure were better than the Marsblade in EVERY way possible.
Would I be better off using mars blades or synthetic ice. I live in Florida so I don’t have access to an ice rink 24/7
@@floridaman1644 Between the two options you mention, Marsblades.
Both options you mention have their Pros and Cons, which Im sure you can Google.
Easy answer, if I were you, Id just grab some cheap Rollerblades.
Bauer Vapour XR Dart is a great option.
@@agioni99 also there’s a pair on the Marsblade website selling for like 140$ would that be worth buying?
@@floridaman1644 $140? Yes, then make the purchase.
But first if you can, make sure those blades come with the boot, the blade, wheels, tools, Etc. Maybe send Marsblade an email with your questions.
And if you can pop-in to a local sports store, try on a pair, so you grab your correct size.
The Marsblades I got, (if I can remember correctly) I got them, in the same size as my ice-skates and the Marsblades fit tight. I ended up giving my Marsblades away to a kid from the neighbourhood.
If you use the Marsblades with a normal Rollerblade configuration, other than feeling heavy, you can use them like normal Blades. The heaviness, think of it like this, theyre making my legs stronger. Always in life turn a negative into a positive, itll get you far. I promise. Im an older guy, whom use to be a competitive athlete, so the heaviness of the Marsblades werent going to make my legs much stronger.
I digress.
When you start messin' round with the Marsblade configuration to get more of an "Ice" feel thats when you might feel like your more on a Skateboard then you are on Blades. The plus to this is, you do get to work your Skating muscles in a different way. The same goes for Synthetic Ice, you get to use your Skating muscles in a different way. The same goes for basic Road and/or Gym work, or on Ice-work.
Proper training is key to succeed at anything. Finding different ways and ideas to train is fun, keeps the muscles guessing, thus growing and you get to learn what works for you and what doesnt.
There is no text book to training, meaning everyone learns, adapts, grows differently.
Stay focused, dedicated and count on no one but the guy you see in the mirror....YOURSELF!
I got to get to usual old man chores/errands so take care for now.
The Marsblade system appears to be a remake of the Tuuk Rocker. I had a pair and loved them until they got stolen :(
way too expensive
Does anyone know how to choose sizes for this marsblade skates? Compare to ice skates sizes 7.5 half ccm
Do you have a video on how to stop on roller hockey skates? I have an idea, but I’d like an instructional video if you have one
Hey a quick question for anyone, I'm an inline skater but of the more traditional 4x80 mm non rockered solid frame, SEBA urban carbon fibre skates. Not at all hockey blades. I used to play hockey though. I was just curious the learning curve with these? Is it hard to learn to get used to? As relative beginner? These exact ones. FMT One, I have a friend with a never worn pair.
I rocker my own skates by using 76mm for the front two wheels an 80mm on the 3rd wheel and another 76mm on the back wheel Feels like an ice skate
I’ve wanted Marsblades for a while but never got them because they were so expensive. The off-ice trainers are on sale right now for $279 for the full skate if you preorder. Way more reasonable. They’re also using a brand new Alkali boot. Sucks that they won’t be here until August but I think they’ll be worth the wait.
Would it accomplish the same thing by having smaller wheels in the front and back?
I got some really nice blades great for messing around in the street and staying in shape during summer. The only part i don't like is I can't really get going on my outside edges and i think the marsblade might help but it's to expensive any suggestions?
rollerblade microblades they are about 150 they are real nice
Baking does not resolve the ankle issue. I’ve baked mine twice with no success and still have pain. Mars blade no longer uses Verbero boots probably for that reason. Product itself is awesome with the exception of the boot fit issue.
Yep, it looks more like an off-ice practice tool for ice hockey players. Don't think is going to be a trend for roller hockey players. Brands tried everything to mimic that "ice hockey feel". Mission's Vibe and Vibe2, Nexed V-form, Sprungs, Tuuk's Rocker e etc.
The price and extra weight, no thank you! Keep light, keep simple.
I'm concerned about the weight too. I would like to try them, though... just because people seem to really be having fun just skating in them
I wear a vapor 1x size 9EE or a nexus skate..... Do you think the boot will accommodate a wider foot?
Can someone tell me why i am still so unsatisfied with the sound/view even when its the graf stick on the ground?
I just bought a pair. I went to just hockey here in Toronto for the installation. One wheel is hardly moving and the rocker system is not moving at all. Is it suppose to move like you showed in this video? Or is it suppose to be super tight? Any advice on where to go here in Toronto for this? You would think Just Hockey source for sports would be the go to place but apparently not. Thanks
Honestly I'd rather just get a rockered/rockerable skate setup. Just my opinion though. Nothing wrong with these if you have the money for it.
Never used These or know much about them, neat design and concept. Can you play in these as well? How well would they do if they take a slapshot to the frame?
What does the performance feel like when you have the regular roller blades and now you have the mars blades
Can anyone tell me how hard it would be for a person whos only done roller hockey to adjust into using these marsblades?
Shooting at the woods? That’s confidence.
Abec 7 are cheeks get some abec 9 or red Swiss bearings
You should make this your rink in the winter
Jeremy, can you do a review of the Hockey Wrap Around Ice?
Would you be able to review the marsblade for ice? I've seen the promotional videos, but would value your opinion.
Hi Jeremy, greetings from Germany
Is there any difference in the feeling between skating just with the holders attached to old boots and the new Vebero + marsblade boots?
I believe it's the same holder
Oh man just got mine and I have the ankle issues as well. Just baked them so I will have to wait till tomorrow to see how they feel. Have yours gotten better/bearable or are they still painful?
my left boot was really painful on the ankle. Marsblade replaced it!
minkya1010 Wow that’s nice. I emailed them 3-4 times over the past couple months and haven’t even got a response haha.
Hey Jeremy-
Would you recommend using a spare set of boots for installing the chassis? Or could you use the same boots you use during ice season?
I have heard people using an old pair then you ain't risking damage.
Just got mine baked today!
Jeremy love your vids what do you recommend for fake ice on grass I shoot 100 pucks a day so it would be used often !
You should get hockey shot dry land flooring tiles. I have them and I shoot a couple hundred pucks a day and they are great
Okay thanks so much how many do you have ?
Better hockey tiles are much more durable and slide very well while having a much better price compared to hockey shot.
Hockey shot sucks..... dust bucket
I think hockey shot is more trustworthy since most hockey RUclipsrs use it
whats the fit like on the skate compared to a Bauer? would they be like a nexus, supreme or a vapour?
REPLY
The boots appear to be the same as the Verbero Cypress (non-pro), which I feel fit very similar to my Supremes. Marsblade describes them as a mid-large volume boot, and Supremes are generally considered mid volume. He mentioned a pressure point on the inside ankle, and I felt the same thing in my Verberos, so I'd have a hard time classifying them all the way out the the Nexus width.
My rollerblades are super worn out because I have been on them so much so I can full on hockey stop 😂
having weird ankles sucks ive got some big ol blisters right now
I play roller hockey, what do you suggest
3:15 lol he missed the lace
lol didnt even notice
cold out?
I need these 🤔
You should try your marsblade rollerblades on synthetic ice
Logan Leahy you wouldn’t be able to skate bro he could get really injured.
I like the idea of these but I'd like to see someone who hasn't been sponsored to review them. I'm not saying Nasher and Jeremy are giving a good review because they were given to them but it's hard to 100% objective about these things.
I have a pair and they are awesome
yeah that's wat I was thinking too
Just read the comments 😁 and just to recap some of my reviews, I showed what it takes to dent the Ez goal in one of my first reviews, I mentioned the first Colt didn't have great performance which caused them to push for better feel and performance in the Colt 2, and in the most recent comparison of Hockeyshot tiles I show that the old ones have a little better glide than the new ones. If I'm not honest in my reviews I lose all credibility so I make it a point to mention all positive and negative points which is why I pointed out the weight and foot pain that I suspect some may get if they dont bake them.
Coach Jeremy this is true. You make good points, I've seen those reviews as well and you point out the negative(s). I appreciate the excellent content as always! (Shhhhh don't tell anyone we had a rational discussion on the interwebz 😅)
Jeremy is awesome
Like mission hi lo chassis!?
can you do how to skate for beginners
I have that roller blade to
When you say bake do you mean the oven ??? Coach jeremy
There's lots of ways to bake skates, usually if it's possible the skates themselves will come with an instruction manual on how to do it.
the pokey nippies lmao
rink rat has the best wheels
Can somone give me tips on how to not grind down the chassis
First time i yoused inlines i tyed hockey stop
Lol everyone I'm subbed to are doing a review on these Marsblade FMT Ones. Nasher61 and Coach Jeremy did a review and Pavel Barber said he is doing a review soon.
I can full on power stop on rollerblades
After u bake them do u have to wait a day to use them
Yup
are they a total outdoor blade?
Nice
those are tough
Try mission skates
when you baked them were they better
How do you rekamend the true stick
Sally Kutcher fix your grammar bud
Jeremy can you please pin me I love your videos and they've really helped me become the best that I can be
great vid!!!!!
U can hockey stop in roller blades
He said in this very video: No.
It kind of pisses me off that the owner gave him 35 fucking seconds to create a video. Like why the hell didn't he have an extra hour to bake the skates?
Very cool😉
OMG KEREEN.......
Love having feet so small that I wear junior skates ✌🏻 it’s 80 dollars US cheaper than senior
I’d buy this instead of those stupid skateable tiles lol (they’re neat but very expensive and will tear up my expensive skates)
I get a similar setup for 34 bux. Often even for less.
How much roller skates you have
4 now, I really should sell a few pairs
Can you do a review of better hockey vs hockey shot comparing all similar items and there prices to come up with what is better?......... Better hockey is better in my opinion.
i had no clue that just the holder was $230
Cool really cool
Hi

Hi I'm from the uk and I'm really into roller/ice hockey the only problem is that there is very few ice rinks which even offer ice hockey and next to no roller rinks so if anyone has any ideas what to do it would be much appreciated thank you :)
You should look at some HockeyShot equipment at HockeyShot.com
Also the mars blades would work really well for you I think.
alfie Tillen how far do you want to take it?
Better Hockey is better and cheaper
FineMan31 I'm 16 and I've been practicing basic skills since 14 and have about an 85mph slap shot but anyways I intend to go to university in North America and obviously there is a lot more support for it there so once I'm there I'll probably make a decision on how far I want to take it then
Joel Beattie I have stuff from hockey shot but it's really expensive in the U.K. So I only have a net :)
Hockey stopping on rollerblades is actually pretty easy
Jumbo Joe's#1fan go Kings go
Anyone else see him miss the lace
Do a video on how to learn to skate as an adult?
Eclipse the Brave just follow the normal tips it works...
MISSION roller blades are way better
can you stop with marsblades
You can stop with inline skates, yes.
