Bivol is an underrated counterpuncher. Look at the first rd knockdown of Zinad in the recent fight. And Bivol has underrated power too. He doesnt put 100% into his shots to conserve energy for the whole 12 rds. But there is enough venom in his shots, combined with accuracy and volume to make his opponents shell up oftentimes. End story - Bivol ends up winning 10 out of 12 rds in a fight.

@jacerivera7907 I disagree, the gameplan was to jab and double jab Canelo to death and use his reach which he did beautifully, Bivol/Beterbieve is a helluva fight, the boxer against the puncher, I had The latter winning the fight in my hypothetical mind for a long time but 9/10 the boxer beats the puncher
Beterbiev is simply on another level with power & being able to pressure at levels Bivol will not be able to handle. Zinad was getting through Bivol’s guard and that was not a good showing foe Bivol at all!
I give the edge to Bivol due to his age and wear-n-tear advantage. Bivol (33) is 5 years, 10 months and 27 days younger than Beterbiev (39). When this fight was first proposed it may not have been a significant factor--although it has long favored Bivol--but NOW it certainly is, especially as Beterbiev is coming off another serious injury, this time to one of his knees.
Yeah idk how people still think Beterbiev steamrolls Bivol. Bivol is infinitely better than any guy he’s ever faced in his pro career. He’s gunna get lit up. The damage, the age, the injury, and even the style of Bivol … it’s a serious uphill battle for him.
@@JohnRayAllDay You may be right, but I recall Oleksandr Gvozdyk was very highly regarded in 2019. I don't think Bivol will have his problem with endurance, however.

this dude also said canelo would easily ko bivol cause bivol "only has a good 1-2" hahaha so as far as his authority to make predictions on bivol's fights goes....
Bivol will get broken down piece by piece. This will truly be one of the greatest fights of their generation. I rate Bivol highly but Beterbiev will wear him down. Respect to both fighters i respect anyone who is willing to get in the ring. R.I.P to all those boxers who have lost their lives.
Going to have to disagree with Benavidez here. Dmitry Bivol is a “ mover” but he isn’t a Pernell Whitaker, Sugar Ray Leonard style mover. He largely pendulum steps, slips, feints and remains right in front of the opponent. He uses a specific rhythm that he usually attacks and uses an active high guard to draw level changes and openings without actually moving much. Beterbiev is also not just this “ walk em down, take hits to give hits” fighter, he never has been. He’s a stalking boxer-puncher who does everything behind a brilliant jab, and usually parries and slips punches. Guys like Joe Smith Jr, Callum Smith found themselves barely able to land a glove on him. He’s an amateur world champion ( something Bivol doesn’t have) with wins over guys like Oleksandr Usyk, and even his losses were contested. He’s a great IQ fighter, that people overlook because of his style. Pressure fighters don’t lack skill, they are specific applications of it, just like Benavidez is very skilled.
Thanks for your opinion but you don’t know until they fight. It’s easy to say this or that and provide a reason or two why your opinion is fact. Until they fight, any analyst can pick various reasons why either guy has an advantage.
@@richardcollins2622 Fact is Benavidez at 27 is closer to his peak with minimal resistance for growth at this point a lot of it due to out of ring indiscipline ( missing weight, cocaine use) and choosing to drain and fight once a year. We we’ll see as you so put it.
@@richardcollins2622 People need to go back and watch that fight over and over again if that's what it takes. bro, Bivol almost lost to Joe Smith Jr, who Beterbiev dropped him in 2nd round. Bivol can't survive pressure of Beterbiev. He catches you, cuts the ring, gets into the middle of the ring. Bivol won UD against middle weight fighter Canelo. His last time KO was ages ago. I would give Beterbiev the edge all day long. I mean its gonna be 21-0 (21 KOs) Inshallah.
He didn't even come close to almost losing. He got hit literally at the bell when he wasn't paying attention, All other aspects he embarrassed Smith in every way.
@@keithcampbell6806 It's your money, bet on who you want. Not one professional boxer has ever gone the distance with Beterbiev, Bivol will be no exception. There won't be any bad decisions by the judges because it won't go to the score cards. Beterebiev is 20-0 with 20 knockouts, there is a reason for that. Bivol barely got past Joe Smith Jr. and Beterbiev finished him in a couple of rounds. Do you recall what Joe Smith said after the fight, " I've never felt anything like that". Bivol will be saying the same thing when he wakes up.
In my opinion, if you go 12 rounds without being able to stop someone, you barely got by them. Beterbiev got rid of Smith in 2 rounds. So, what are you smoking? If you believe Bivol will beat Beterbiev you are surely smoking something. This fight is 80-20 for Beterbiev. This fight is a wolverine against a bobcat and the bobcat won't survive. You don't get to be 20-0 with 20 ko's by luck.

What are you talking about he did fight someone like bivol I think you mean Bivol did not have such an opponent as Beterbiev. Beterbiev had such an opponent as Bivol. It was Gozdyk. Gozdyk and Bivol are very similar in their boxing style.but gozdyk is more powerful then bivol Beterbiev is a boxing professor. He has extensive experience in amateur and professional boxing, a high IQ and a gladiator mentality. To defeat him, you need to have more experience, higher IQ and a fighting mentality.
Other way around. Bivol’s never faced someone like Beterbiev. Beterbiev seen and fought Boxers that move and box like Bivol but can crack too. Zinad was catching Bivol with some good shots. Beterbiev would have slept Zinad in the very 1st rd. But I’ll say 60-40 Beterbiev now cause of Beterbiev’s age. Beterbiev’s resume > Bivol’s resume.
Stalking guys ALWAYS look unstoppable against weaker guys. You look at Spence, GGG, even Canelo. Whenever they fight someone at their level, it’s a different story. Bivol beats Beterbiev and maybe even stops him.

@@msr187 the rumour was Zurdo knocked out Bivol in sparring as well and we know how one sided that fight was. I do think Benavidez is good enough to compete and possibly win though.

Bivol all the way 🏆💪🏻
Bivol would give Benavidez a master class of a complete fighter. Ud by a landside, Bivol
Bivol can’t count him out by no means counter puncher both have power👍
Bivol is an underrated counterpuncher. Look at the first rd knockdown of Zinad in the recent fight. And Bivol has underrated power too. He doesnt put 100% into his shots to conserve energy for the whole 12 rds. But there is enough venom in his shots, combined with accuracy and volume to make his opponents shell up oftentimes. End story - Bivol ends up winning 10 out of 12 rds in a fight.
Bivol and Beterbiec are too much to chew for DAvid

@@VeteranWS I'm gonna come back for a good laugh when Benavidez beats both. Beterbiev is almost 40 and has been dropped twice and doesn't have the speed or accuracy of Benavidez. Bivol, maybe could beat him, but Beterbiev I really doubt it. Yes, he's got power, but Benavidez can handle it. Beterbiev is overrated and will be exposed by Benavidez if he doesn't get beat first by Bivol, which is likely. Benavidez has the 2nd best connect percentages in the entire sport and Beterbiev doesn't even come close to that.

The damage, the age, the injury, and even the style of Bivol … it’s a serious uphill battle for him.

this dude also said canelo would easily ko bivol cause bivol "only has a good 1-2" hahaha so as far as his authority to make predictions on bivol's fights goes....

@@richardcollins2622 People need to go back and watch that fight over and over again if that's what it takes. Probably but now benavidez it's a different MONSTER think about that bro
bro, Bivol almost lost to Joe Smith Jr, who Beterbiev dropped him in 2nd round. Bivol can't survive pressure of Beterbiev. He catches you, cuts the ring, gets into the middle of the ring.
