Funny I just started researching this unit and your video popped up today. I’m in the US and it’s priced very reasonably. The EQ is the obvious upgrade to a 1073. Hope to add this to my rig soon.
Why is the low EQ knob on the right and the high EQ knob on the left? Generally low is on the left and high on the right, just like the piano keyboard, or reading direction-left to right.
Because on the original hardware module that this is based on, that's how the controls are laid out. In a console the preamp is at the top and the high band is at the top as well which when you turn it sideways is on the left side. I agree with you that the better layout would be to put the preamp gain on the right side along with the high band. Low band on the far left.
