Robert we need more of your videos! I really enjoy cigar smoking and have just recently tried my hand at rolling and am fascinated by it. Your videos are the only ones I found that were actually helpful and I would love to learn more your techniques. Thanks you!
The S in perfecto, again thank you very cool ! I never would have geust that the long S Shape used from the 17&1800s would be the shape used to roll a Perfecto.
I'm not sure. I think I may have bought it from Whole Leaf Tobacco... but that was so long ago I don't remember. No, I don't see how paper coud be used to mold a perfecto. You're trying to make a complex 3-D shape. Leaves can stretch to match; paper not so much. You could make perfectos easy enough with no mold... they just won't be so consistent, and the tapers will tend to come out crooked.
@@RobertDavis-lm1oc Thanks so much! I had checked whole leaf but they don't have the rounded end on one side like yours. For paper I was considering news paper so if I twist the ends it can hug the complex shape. I will try to find a mold. Really loved this video.
I use cellulose glue. It's made out of trees. It must be perfectly safe cause they use it for pre-school crafts. It's the same glue they use for wallpaper. Cheap and easy to get on Amazon.
wholeleaftobacco.com sells the tobacco knives called chavetas. I don't know that anyone makes or sells new tablas, which are the maple butcher block type rolling surfaces. An ordinary bamboo cutting board works.
@@DraGon-cg6ge I'm not a grower, Dra. Quite the opposite, cause I am the kiss of death to gardens. I suggest you talk to the amateur growers on fairtradetobacco.com
