My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.
I totally agree; I am 66 years old, recently retired, with approximately $1.2 million in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, I didn't do all this alone, but with the help of a financial advisor. Having one is currently the best way to trade in the stock market, especially for people nearing retirement.
Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with? I've wanted to make this switch for a very long time now, but I've been very hesitant about. I'll appreciate any recommendation.
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.

Maybe it goes sideways or down in summer, but it peaks only in June-July, and before that it pumps like crazy in May. Next few months will be euphoric, forget about deeper corrections. Stock market is already oversold, put/call ratio near extreme levels, May is historically bullish for tech stocks (if earnings come out good). Bitcoin will probably chop around here and close month negatively (first time in 8 months), then to the moon! And even if there is a larger correction in the future, it will happen above previous ATH, that's where BTC.D dumps and altseason kicks in. So the fun is just getting started...It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Tobias Hawke, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I went through each ticker in the IWM and there is a handful of good tickers, some okay tickers, and then there is a bunch of crap.
How does tax cuts in itself cause inflation? That is a pretty big statement backed by what?
People will have more cash in their pockets to spend. ‘Demand push’ inflation.
Because when the government tells you they are cutting your taxes, they are really just spending more money. In order for the government to cut your taxes, the government would have to cut its spending as well, thats just basic. Well, we already know the government wont cut any of its spending so where does the difference come from when you get a tax cut?
They print more money or sell bonds ect, further inflating the money supply.
So government spending funded from borrowing or the printing press causes inflation, right? Not tax cuts in themselves. If goverment cuts spending by the same amount as the tax cuts, no inflationary effects right? Tell me what is wrong with your logic!
@@Bjarkus3You are correct. Tax cuts allow people to keep more of their money, and whether they spend it, save it, invest it or put it under the mattress does NOT cause inflation. Inflation occurs when the government creates money and spews it into the system.
@@Bjarkus3 Tax cuts are inflationary - as said above, more money to spend - and tax increases would be another way to bring down inflation - but most people (especially Americans) would have a tantrum if their taxes go up - it would be unpopular so they only increase interest rates.
