Interview with Rodrigo Caldera, Enneagram 4w5: The Gift of Authenticity.

In this episode, I interview Rodrigo Caldera, Enneagram 4w5. Rodrigo is a somatic psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and an art therapist in the Bay Area. He is one of the most integrated and self-aware Enneagram 4s I have ever met with. I think you will learn a lot about the gifts and challenges of the Enneagram 4 from him.
Rodrigo talks about his childhood, which involved several moves to different countries, causing him to often feel like an outsider. A highly creative and expressive person, as well as a deep feeler, Rodrigo found his center in dance and art and brings these gifts to his clients. In listening to him speak about his work, it is clear that authenticity is not only essential to him, but he also uses that authenticity to draw out what is authentic in others.
Rodrigo talks about being called to the work of social justice, which we typically associate with Enneagram 8. Listen to the episode to learn how the motivations for doing the work of social justice differ between Type 4 and Type 8. In this interview, Rodrigo also offers insight into the words "unique" and "special" (which are often used to describe Type 4s).
In this interview, we also talk about the "Big 3" in Rodrigo's astrological chart as they relate to his Enneagram. He is a Libra Sun, Aquarius Ascendant, and Pisces Moon, all of which reflect his Type 4 nature brilliantly. Rodrigo is inspired by beauty and nature (Libra), driven to improve humanity (Aquarius), and seeks to dissolve boundaries and create flow (Pisces) through art and human connection. This is the essence of the integrated Enneagram 4.
