Suleiman sets off to campaign with the fire burning in his heart. Mihrimah takes the menagement of harem and forbids Sultana Sah to enter the palace.
Mustafa loses his dreams of the throne but he builds hopes again thanks to soldier's loyalty. Mahidevran takes an action to kill Mehmet. Mihrimah corners Sultana Şah. Bali Bey chases up the clue he has found. Suleiman who is proud of Mehmet's success gets devastated with the bad news received from Manisa. Suleiman who is on the brink of the abyss revives miraculously.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Mihrimah was just officially put in charge of the harem by her father making her the Valide Sultana so it's ridiculous that anyone would think or dare claim she didn't have the authority to decide who she will or won't allow in the palace while he is gone...even another Sultana. This was the Sultan's deeply cherished daughter not some favored concubine like Mahidevran was or wife like her mother Hurrem who could be replaced in his affections or defeated through the usual sensual /political games and palace intrigue. Sah should have known that going up against her and throwing out useless threats to make her a even more an enemy was not a good move to make. Mihrimah knew Sah was a snake who meant no good and Sah proved her right to keep her at a distance with her empty threats when called out on her phoniness .
She had the power of a valide sultana just not the title

This remains, honestly, one of my favorite scenes for Mihrimah. Just a true establishment of control without an ounce of fear, not to mention making it clear that she has no interest in tolerating phoniness from those around her (nor would I, to be honest).
Mihrimah sultan outranks shahuban anyway. Now with the harem, shes actually the valide sultan. Thats how we had to see hurrem sultan all this time! Im glad she didnt bow to shah either

Her name is ‘Mihrimah' but i pronounce it as ‘MIRHIMAH' maybe because i am indian and it is difficult to pronounce her name as it is written.
