I still like the Trinidad type aeneus, the trilineatus populations with the high back and dorsal, defined pattern and neat lateral stripe, and the reticulatus, best. No long seussi or Scleromystax snouts or laterally pinched heads for this aquarist, even if they have appealing colors and/or patterns.
I really like some of the Scleromystax! The Prionotus were especially neat looking! Also, I don't think I've ever seen a Hoplisoma Boesmani up close.. those were sorta stunning! I think I need those next! 🤩 I bet they're one of the expensive ones, aren't they? 😂
Boesmani are expensive if you consider 25-35 dollars expensive, but all things considered i have mine for 1 year now. They don't exhibit as much so if you had a dither fish.

Collecting and organizing the information and clips takes a lot of time. Thank you! Well done!
Thank you =)
Thank you for taking the time to do this! I am a loser and they will probably always still be Corys to me. That Bosemani was fab 🤩
Really enjoyed this. Nice choice of background music as well. Great for reference, I'm sure I'll be revisiting each time I'm considering a new "cory".
Thanks great video! So many I would love to get.
stupid youtube button in bottom right had corner made reading the names difficult sometimes but thanks for doing this video
Man i totally forgot about that stupid watermark. Thanks for mentioning it, i got rid of it for good.

Isn't Corydoras semiaquilus still in the Corydoras and not in the Hoplisoma genus or am I remembering completly wrong?

They Pronti look way better in person, the footage i got is trash, damn blue backgrounds.

When I woke up this morning I had three species of Corydoras, now I have none. Gastrodermus and Osteogaster will take some time to memorize 🙄
I don't think I'm going to have enough tanks....
Kinda wish the trade/common name was included
My brain will have such a hard time moving from Cory to Hopli and Osteos... I mean its good they get classified but still.. Cory :(
Well, they are all still in the sub family Corydoradinae. So we can all still call them corys =)
Sigh, so many Cory's, so little time.
