She picked him up and brought him over to her so she could clean the poop off his feet. And she held his ear, she didn't pinch it or pull it. You can tell because the ear wasn't red and Tourtour didn't start shrieking. If you watch mother monkeys discipline their babies, they often hold them by their ears. She did essentially the same thing without the force the mother monkey uses. To copy the methods of training and correction used in the animal's community is very effective. Nothing evil and cruel about it. But, I think there might be something a bit unhinged about your comment.

There are no authorities to call. She is in a different country that has no cause to listen to you. It is already illegal there to keep a wild animal as a pet. But it is so badly enforced that people walk openly in the street with their monkeys on their hip. You're threat is meaningless here. This little monkey is pulling out all the tricks, up to and including running to the other end of the table to avoid her grasp. He is even too young to understand why he does these things, it's instinctual for him. He is frightened and stressed and anxious. He doesn't know why he is in trouble, but he does understand what that means. His entire goal here is to not get hurt. Sad way to spend your life.
