    Love that bathroom and dressing table area.
    Do you think you could swap the coffee machine for a normal kettle? We don’t drink that type of coffee and I only drink tea….
    Nice balcony 🇬🇧👍

      Tea kettles are only provided when the ship leaves from the UK I believe. But I guess you could ask.
      Thank you for watching

    It's a pretty cabin and we usually cruise in a Junior Suite, however, why does it look smaller than a "normal" JS? Not crazy about the layout.

    Do they have irons and ironing boards in all rooms?

    • @JourneywithJosh
      @JourneywithJosh  Месяц назад

      No, ships don't provide that and you can't bring it. Fire hazard. No portable steamers either. You can try Downey wrinkle release spray.
      Thanks for stopping by.

    How is the bed configuration when they split the beds? I'm curious to see how it will look.

      It's the same as all the others I guess 🤷

    I would much rather have a walk-in shower versus a shower/tub combo. What did you think about the overall layout of the room?
    Thanks for sharing!

    • @JourneywithJosh
      @JourneywithJosh  5 месяцев назад +1

      Oh that tub isn't for everyone. I know many people that have tripped getting in or out. I think I might also like a larger shower that's more spa-like. I thought the room was well laid out. Spacious. I like it better than the aft sunset suite and no noise from kids like the sunset suite.

      @@JourneywithJosh Every time I see a tub in a stateroom, I ask myself "who is this for?". Lol.
      We have one of these booked for our upcoming Icon cruise in the summer, so I was anxious to see what the room actually looked like. I wish they would have added a second lounge chair on the balcony. Do you know if that TV pulls out? Thanks again.

    • @JourneywithJosh
      @JourneywithJosh  5 месяцев назад

      I don't... I tried to pull mine out in my balcony cabin and it didn't easily so I didn't force it. Didn't want to break a brand new ship. I did lol to see that the connection ports are set back behind the TV but with a small hand could be reached.

    We're you able to tour the surfside family suite?

      Unfortunately I wasn't, I didn't find out rooms were available to view and time to see all of them. But thank you for watching

      Pretty much since it's a Oceanview balcony cabin, it'll look like the one I did a tour of.
      Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful time

      Yes, front starboard side. Near the elevators.

    This room
    seems small. I stayed in suites on other RC ships. I’m sorry but this “small suite” misses the mark. I know you are not a RC rep, so my comment is not directed at you.
