After watching these videos I always think "wow I should play OU" then I remember I suck at video games and go back to using Hyper Offense Mono Steel with No Hazards, 4 Swords Dancers, Weakness Policy Celesteela, and Scarf Dragon Pulse Heatran
I love that I have found someone who has similar thoughts to me about mandibuzz. Mandibuzz is like skarmory, if skarmory was cool enough to not have to resist the stuff flying is weak to to still chonk them anyways. Its one of the most consistent lower tier pokemon I have ever seen, and I also dont want to bite the edge of my screen off when I am going against it, unlike skarmory.
Run gastro, run life orb modest 252 spa. Ohko rillaboom on the switch in with blizzard and annoy everything else with kinda scary stab scald/earth power. If you manage to storm drain you ohko pex, a roosting corviknight and 2hko on ferro. I used to greatly enjoy one on my hail team, you can invest in just hp if you are behind a veil and still be scary

Darmanitan flare blitz with sheer force unironically hits harder than stone edge against mandibuzz. 120*1.5 stab*1.3 sheer force= effective 234 base power. Stone edge is 100*2 super effective =effective 200 base power
To be fair, Blitz's recoil would've put them in range to be KOed by Foul play before it could go through Roost at the HP percent Buzz was at. So stone edge's lack of recoil and higher crit chance still probably gave them slightly better odds of winning despite the functionally worst BP, lower PP and much worse accuracy (the latter 2 being what cost them the game). On the flipside though, speaking of worse accuracy, what's truly surprising was them putting on stone edge in the first place when sheer force rock slide has almost the same BP but with better accuracy (90 vs 80) and twice as many PPs. Like I don't think the very slim BP advantage and crit chance is worth being twice as likely to miss and/or get PP stalled.

The same thing happens to me except I invariably find myself using all 3 Protean starters because type switching is just a free serotonin button
