    I could spend my entire life in worship listening to traditional hymn tunes. Many modern songs are worthy of note but I don’t think any will stand the test of time in the way many of the traditional hymns have, written as they are with their different part harmonies. Modern songs are not written to be sung in the way that traditional hymns were and nowadays they are often ‘performed’ as if the people need to be entertained. For many, such ‘performance’ is far from worship.

    The best rendition I have heard of this lovely tune. Expert harmony in the last line is utterly amazing

    A beautiful hymn, beautifully played , and one that holds a special affection to a group of people , of which I am one !

    The Soprano Cornet is excellent. The right touch and perfect blend.

      Such a lovely sounding instrument , wonder why it's not used more widely such as in orchestras .
