Personally love my Kenevo SL as well. I did not want to convert to e-bike, but with a family It is hard to ride/workout 3x a week to be able to climb the same trails with my single friends, who are willing to show me the double blacks I like to ride. So this way we at least start at the top at the same time....tech climbing still requires proper trials skills e-bike or not.
You can pedal the SL's with the motor off if you want a regular bike work out.. and on things you can't climb without it, turn it on... The thing with the SL bikes is you're getting a regular enduro bike.. but with the option of having an emtb with it... It's not like the thing doesn't pedal when it's off lol.
This is the video I was waiting for. I went to Roy’s Cyclery today to take a look at the Kanevo SL. Definitely looks amazing like the Enduro. Do you have any referral with them? I’m trying to find out where I can demo it (don’t want to go to Santa Cruz to do that), but I’m definitely inclined to buy one of those. Although I believe I will have to sell a kidney to buy it lol.
They are 2 different bikes , Enduro and Trail . Same weight . I ride a Kenevo Sl Comp 42.32lbs ready to ride . Narrow technical slow steep trails , super stable . Riding uphill with 25% support and I can easily do 2000HM without extender !!! , for me a Super good bike . Next test will be a Trek EX e I am curious what this trail bike can do on the same trails . You have to ride the bike like a normal bike and keep a pedal frequency of 80 uphill .
@Michael Hodge Is it apples and oranges? They both have a frame, handle bars, disc brakes, front and rear suspension and a Motor! Lol This is for pusses that are scared of MX bikes!! Dam buy a used 50cc and put aftermarket suspension on it with DLC, rebuild and blueprint the motor and buy every aftermarket performance part, save $3K and have way more fun!!!
@@Ocean_619 I have a 350 and a 200, I love dirt bikes and race Enduro. Mountain bikes are awesome fun too, just different. You ARE allowed to enjoy more than one thing in life.

I’m not sure if this channel is sponsored by Specialized, but check out the new Trek E Bike that was just released.
It sort of is. He has connections with Specialized.

Ohh hell no, 10k for a bike you have to pedal is insane.
Coming soon to a track near you, in the rig of the guy who also owns a factory edition, or who's kid has 3 dirt bikes LMAO
$11K is ridiculous!!!
This is for successful people!
Can buy a new MX for that kind of dough..

Yeah I’ll buy a sur ron lol
not the same tho. Sur ron's are banned on mtb trails
@@EMBIKES plus, a Sur Ron is like a shit dirt bike or a heavy mountain bike that you can’t ride anywhere 🤷🏼♂️😂
