I saw this phenomenon in 1968 in Paramaribo Surinam, speechless. The announcer Nandi Duggal said by his upcoming: Ienhe badja ki itna shaukh hai ki ab tak shaadi nahin ki.¨ With Buji Lord they mastered every instrument, together with Charanjit Singh, introducing the transrecord.
Going from his interviews, he was such a gifted, down to earth guy. His role cannot be understated. Not just an all rounder, but introducing tape echo, synthesizers, glockenspiel AND arranging too..kya baat hai. Tum Jo Mil gaye ho, by Madan Mohan ji & Rafi sahib was arranged by him. I think a lot of naushad sahib's later songs were arranged by him too, such as Saathi's songs and Ganwaar etc. His musical stamp must be on so many songs from the 50s onwards. R D burman's phase may have been from the 70s onwards and that's where you hear the synths, tape echo and percussion fun. Kersi ji mentioned Frank Fernandez & he arranged for Kalyanji Anandji & his stamp is all over their 70s stuff.
11:15, anchor was singing: "kisi ki muskurahaton pe ho nisar". But the inference was the theme music of 'hum dono' used in "main zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya" and "abhi na jao chhodkar"....???
That is because Kersi is not a good narrator. You will notice there is little nostalgic emotion. He is too detached. That’s why Irfan has to find another question that will add continuity
Kersi Sir was a fantastic musician and engineer...

The Saathi song "mera pyar bhi tu hai" has a very distinct 2 tabla rythm. I don't know if any other song has such rythm
The Lord family is truly Lord...hats off to this family

बहोत अच्छी जानकारी इन महान अॅरेंजर से मिली. व्हिडिओ का साऊंड लेवल बहोतही कम है खास करके सवाल करनेवाले शख्सकी आवाज.
Brilliant ❤

Here did not said about legend aggressive SJ utilized music instruments with lords group too
Shankar Jaikishan, Laxmikant Pyarelal used nearly 100 Musicians
The interviewer is struggling too much to keep Kersi busy with his narration.

Pl tell kersi date of birth sir
Good interview but why didn't you ask him about the greatest of all musicians, Shankar Jaikishan? Is there a Kersi Lord video about SJ?
