Never count him out for sure :) Bu he does seem to be having more "off days" as time goes on. Judd Trump and Mark Allen have to be up there as contenders, maybe even Si Jiahui? Judd is in the form of his life at the minute, so my imaginary money is on him.

Turns out he did have an "off day" against Bingham. Perish the thought, but I think his days as #1 are numbered...I doubt he'll get that 8th world championship win. Still, the bloke is an absolute legend no matter what :)
