  • In this video, I share my opinion regarding upgrading from the Remarkable 2 to the Remarkable 3, also known as the Remarkable Paper Pro. I cover the new model’s features, including its enhanced dimensions and the ability to write in color, and weigh these against its increased heft and other design changes.

It really comes down to how you plan to use it. You get a few additional features on the Paper Pro however, I personally like the smaller form factor and weight of the RM2.

You can order the rM2 try it out and see if the ecosystem suits you. If not, you can still send it back, with 100 days policy.
If you like it, send it back and buy the rM Pro

@@jongreentechI agree with you here. I upgraded one because I’m a long-term user of the rM2 since 2020 but also as i matriculate into higher math class, the larger footprint and color has become invaluable for me with showing my steps and final answers for credit. I create a notebook for each assignment or test and work the problems. I then export it as a PDF and upload or share with my professors. I do not think for general use an upgraded is needed but I can say for me, I love the writing experience more on the rMPaperPro and I haven’t put it down since receiving it. I really don’t notice the significant weight to the extent that it makes that much a difference for me, I really don’t. I take it work with me and no extra strain or impact. I plan to keep and use my rM2 as well. If you never had one and you can afford it, why not get the rMPaperPro. It’s an investment but should last you for many years to come and you will have the size, and color. If you want smaller you can always source for a preloved rM2 later. Lastly, believe it or not, the folio and markers (devices too however I would recommend getting new so you get the 100 day return and warranty) on eBay to cheaper than the site.
