It was fun hearing your first impressions on these fragrances! 😊 I am an iris fan and I love Apollonia because it is crisp without any powderiness. I love powdery iris too, but I already have so many of those types, so Apollonia offers something different.
I agree that K’Bridge smells just like Intense Cafe and also Roses Vanille. So similar that I couldn’t justify owning all of them and I already have Intense Cafe. Beautiful rose, coffee, and vanilla fragrance though!
I think La Capitale is nice, but I prefer Byron Mula Mula for a sweet, fruity caramel scent because La Capitale has oud in it, which I don’t like. Fragrantica doesn’t list the oud, but it is a note and is listed on the tester bottles. I wish Fragrantica would list the oud note because oud can be a dealbreaker for most, so I think it’s an important note to list. So, your nose is correct - oud is there!
You are correct regarding la capital. There is definitely oud in the base. The sample perfume at the perfume shop I went to had the notes engraved on the bottle. Oud was listed last.

Yeah La Capitale is very deceiving 😅 wanted to like it but there is something strong, sharp and headache inducing. Wish I got sweet strawberry and caramel on my skin

The only Apollonia I know of is the one from Purple Rain with Prince.

another one that is similar (to me) to intense cafe is gentle fluidity gold and Delox from Tiziana Terenzi

La Capitale is super strawberryish! lol Like it's so dominant at the beginning.
Did you try kayalis Eden? To me it has a prominent strawberry note, I wonder if you would like it

Yeah the strong oud note in La Capitale really threw me off. For me I get the fruit and caramel in the opening only and then it’s only oud on my skin after a couple minutes. I guess I was also hoping for something more fruity throughout and easy to wear. I thought for sure by reading the notes that I would have bought a full bottle but I’ll pass.
Thank goodness I found out about the oud note because I cannot deal with oud. So many niche fragrances have oud in them and it makes me sick every time. The first time I smelled oud was in Delina Exclusif and it smelled like dirty horse stalls mixed with the underwear of a skanky woman lol. Then came Oud Satin Mood and that one really made me sick to my stomach.
@@DarlingNikki2 yeah I would definitely avoid this one then. I don’t really detect much oud in Delina Exclusif but I definitely get it in La Capitale, to me it is much more pronounced.
Why wouldn’t you try on skin.
I would have sworn you would like la capitale. I love it but it comes off as strawberry Caramel leather on me. My son hates it though.

You know i realised that i dont like fruit notes combined with oud it is somekind noseyating 😕
I find La Capitale confusing to my nose with the oud being too dominant and drowning out the strawberry 😕
