I feel like this song finally utilizes Johnny's vocal style well. I love Johnny so much, but sometimes I feel like his lines don't really showcase him well and it ends up just being a talk-singing sort of thing (which is totally fine, but sometimes just a bit underwhelming), but I really love his lines in this song
You may not see, ever, in most groups, a Main Vocalist being a Main dancer too. You can't have a Main vocalist doing the amount of a Main dancer cause Main Vocalists need to perform with their vocals and they need to breath. That is why you'll see Taeil, and Doyoung too, most of the time at the back in formations because the ones in the dance only mark the move but they don't go all out. It is a practical logical matter, this is not about deserving or not or being qualified or not. On the contrary you'll see, Main Rappers CAN be Main dancers. That is the official positions. Still Haechan and Jaehyun, compared to Taeil and Doyoung get to have more attention and presence in the choreos. Maybe you think the Positions tags are degrading or are put according to what they are capavla of or not. NO!! Like in soccer, you may be a defender, it doesn't mean he doesn't know how to score goals, but hia position in the team in defender. It's easy to understand.
If this was about what one is capable of or good at, we will just see most being MAIN everything, all would be center all would be visual That is not how things work. Positions are established since day 1 because songs, choreos, perfoemances will be organized, distributed according to those poaitions. I remember one music show with WayV, was it Kick Back? where Ten had to sing the high note and hold it up for seconds, and hia voice just cracked... That is an example of why you can't have Main dancers doing all the vocal agilities. Same in concerts.

He is MAIN VOCALING AT THE SAME TIME HANDLING DANCE STEPS GIVEN TO MAIN DANCERS. like this choreography itself is already the evidence given to you readily he literally was given the same dance parts with taeyong AND mark (AND SLAYING IT) while having high notes in the songs he is given he also did that in universe with shotaro and yang yang and many other songs but hes amazing in doing both thats why people want him to be main dancer and main vocal because he can do both like ppl wouldnt ask of it if he wasnt capable but he is.
