The ACOG still going strong. I recently Retired myself and it's nice to see things still going the same as when I was in. I do like their new kit, those high cut helmets are very comfortable and can easily mount things like GoPro cameras.
Yes the acog is one of the best scopes made I much prefer the Elcan spectre though. The new helmets I don't like because they offer less ballistic protection than the ECH and even the older ACH and since ops-core already has an external ACH mounting kit I'd be more glad to get issued a ACH/ECH.
I chewed that dirt 40+ years ago as nuke artillery. Faced the Ruskies back then too. The only scopes we had were the AN-PVS2 night scopes mounted to the M16A1. Better than nothing, but grainy as hell. Used the ACOG in Iraq and have one for myself now. The video is great. @@Echo-01
