Hallo Carl. You have a broad knowledge of Intervals and combine it with modern melodies.
What a great teacher!
For major sixth I always remember Brindisi from Verdi’s La Traviata.
Great video! Some suggestions:
Schindlers list for a lot of descending intervals, mostly fifths
A world of pure imagination for ascending major seventh
Imperial march for descending octave (the continuation of the main theme)
Chopin nocturne 9 no 2 for major sixth
The Rebels march for descending minor third
Oh god yes, Schindlers Liste😂
For descending perfect fifths, I always use Beethoven’s 9th first movement as a reference. Love the video!
Thanks🙌
I actually really like singing intervals greater than the fifth, ascending and descending. Love doing octave jumps. Probably why I like singing the Carpenters so much, there are lots of interesting intervals in their music.
Thanks! And you may not consider it memorable, nor is it a movie, but I think the intro of Star Trek Voyager starts with a descending fifth.
great video
Thanks🙌🏻
How about Schindler's list theme for descending fifths? :)
Ohhhhh yeah, right😂
Is this a part of ear training?
Yes definitely🙌🏻
The "There's a place" from West Side Story also works as "There's a place" from 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'.
Darth Vader is not a minor sith! He's one of the most powerful.... oh, you wrote minor sixth, sorry
