  • how this 4 drum machines sounds in a similar pattern. I've tryed to do my best tweeking on parameters to do something similar.
The TR-808 still remains inimitable but other ones do a lot more fun and inspiration. The Volca Beat is a cheap funny instrument.

I will buy a MKII shortly because I really think that for my kind of sound, which is mostly 80's oriented, it is a great all-around addition. I am surprised how I liked the timbre of this MKII better than the real TR. Let alone that what I just heard coming from the TR doesn't really justify the hefty prices they go for nowadays. In terms of punch/versatility/variety/cost the R8 is a clear winner.

@Love made in Japan Good luck finding card 10. Plus you can only use one card at a time.

@Love made in Japan I am talking to the people you are advising. You're giving them bad advice.

Hi mate. I've got a TR8 and a volca beats. Thinking about an R8. Is it a worthy addition?

Hi! I do really love Roland R8. I'd used it a lot and more of TR-808 and Volca Beat in my songs.
