This has got to be one of the most entertaining lead cards of the season. So nice to see each player's different style and the different kinds of shots they each excel at!
henna is gonna be a problem for the future fpo ladies. Its nice to actually see good competition in the fpo though. for years it was hokom, catarina and paige and pretty much no one else
I agree. It's nice to see FPO is no longer dominated by a small number of women just because they could throw farther than the other girls. Now it's all about being the whole package, superb putting and wide range of shots. Just having a big drive no longer makes you a top female...and that's a good thing.
@@cup_and_cone putting is still meh in my opinion for fpo. Kristen seems like shes the only one to really take c1 putting serious which is why she has been so dominant these last few years. Not sure where to find the actual stats but id imagine shes at least top 5 in c1. The rest of the ladies just have such a struggle and its really not suprising when they miss a 15-20 ft putt which should honestly be pretty rare in the open division. But either way fpo is way better to watch now 100%
It's really annoying that the guy doing FPO lead card player introductions calls them "international competitors". PDGA is a global sports organization and this is the world championships, there shouldn't be a such thing as an "international competitor".
Henna might have the highest ceiling of all of these ladies. Her turnovers, her long drives, putts all look really good, all it lacks is perfect consistency, which will come. It's scary to watch her when she's on a roll.
Not just throwing 400', but also know how to putt... The days of the FPO winner being the longest thrower in a field of mediocre putters is over. Women have to do everything well now.
Yeah, if she can make it to lead card with her current putting, imagine how much she'd be ahead if she fixed her putt. (Easier said than done, I know, but her putt is definitely her biggest weakness at the moment.)
I don't understand how people still say Holyn played ultimate. She's said in interviews that she's not from ultimate. Her snap comes from volleyball & putting in work in the field. I get it Madison is just getting her info from others & between playing herself & then doing commentary there's not much time for research. But Holyn's right there just ask to be sure.
why are these women doing commentary...they have great knowledge but drive me nuts laughing at EVERYTHING they say. "that was a great drive...laugh laugh laugh." not funny...just do commentary. this isn't the laugh factory
