Here in Canada(basically in any part of the world), everyone should learn to look both ways on streets where traffic is ongoing. Be it the pedestrian or the driver. Obviously, the driver is at the wrong here since he abandoned an accident. MTO clearly states that when involved in an accident, the parties involved should contact the police immediately. The driver could have saved the woman if he did the right thing. My condolences to the bereaved ones..

Please someone advice the man about insurance claim from driver’s car insurance, BIG Money he can use to support his family, it is not a replacement for the life lost, but at least you fight for your rights! Sorry for your loss!😢
Sue and seek legal counsel to the guy who killed her, his insurance will pay for wrongful dead. They will pay for the damages and compensation. My condolences for this sad incident sir 🙏🙏🙏
It’s important to wear reflective clothing at night so that you are visible to drivers and to always be vigilant. There are tons of careless drivers out there and the onus is sadly, always on pedestrians since you don’t stand a chance against a negligent driver and their vehicle.
