What is your favorite UEFA Euro 2024 stadium?
Stadion dortmund
Allianz Arena
Its hard to pick one they are all fantastic! The old ones that were renovated are all top class renos. If I have to pick I'd go with Westfalenstadion (That's Borussia Dortmund's for all you kids) and Olympiastadion for the Greek/Roman style facade.
Munich Football Arena
Olympiastadion
Fun Facts: 9 out of 10 stadiums here were the 2006 World Cup venues. That's why when fans watched Euro 2024, they think it's just like what happened 18 years ago.
I will list several memorable moments for each stadiums (excluding Dusseldorf's one):
1.Leipzig Stadium: Argentina vs Mexico in 2006 World Cup (Maxi Rodriguez' banger goal).
2.Cologne Stadium: Sweden vs England in 2006 World Cup (Joe Cole's banger goal), 2020 Europa League Final (Lukaku gifted Sevilla the Europa League title).
3.Frankfurt Arena: Brazil vs France in 2006 World Cup (Zinedine Zidane outclassing Brazil players), 2011 Women's World Cup Final (Japan's historic World Cup win).
4.Volksparkstadion, Hamburg: 2010 Europa League Final (Diego Forlan scoring a winning goal that won Atletico Madrid the Europa League).
5.Arena AufSchalke, Gelsenkirchen: 2004 Champions League Final (Porto's historic win with Jose Mourinho), England vs Portugal in 2006 World Cup (Wayne Rooney's red card).
6.Stuttgart Arena: Croatia vs Australia in 2006 World Cup (The one where Josip Simunic gets 3 yellow cards), Germany vs Portugal in 2006 World Cup.
7.Westfalenstadion: Germany vs Italy in 2006 World Cup (Italy scored 2 winning goals in dying minutes of extra time).
8.Munich Football Arena: 2012 Champions League Final (Chelsea's historic win over their own stadium's opponents, Bayern Munich).
9.Olympiastadion, Berlin: 2006 World Cup Final (Zinedine Zidane's headbutt).
Thanks for this list
Still remember most of these stadiums(2006 WC) my first time watching football WC
Olympiastadion Berlin is so elegant (2:47) ! I love it, both outside and inside!
Volksparkstadium Hamburg is brilliant! Love it 👍🏻
Historically Berlin. For atmosphere Dortmund. But at least they haven't had to build any new venues since 2006 and the World Cup.
Red Bull Arena,Leipzig
Deutche Bank Park,Frankfurt
Rheine-Energie,Cologne
Veltins Arena,Gelsenkirchen
MHP Arena,Stuttgart
Merkur-Spiel Arena,Dusseldorf
AWD Arena,Hamburg
Signal Iduna Park,Dortmund
Allianz Arena,Münich
All stadiums are just class 🔥
I've attended every big german stadium. The best ones are Arena Auf Schalke (Veltins Arena), Allianz Arena, Rhein-Energie-Stadion in this order. Westfalenstadion is big but overrated. Olympiastadion doesnt have the same amazing atmosphere for a Football game. All in all some great grounds
Curious: what did you like about the Schalke Arena? Because for me it doesn't even make the Top 10 in German grounds 😅
Great video
I like Volksparkstadion and Stuttgart stadion.
Allianz arena ❤
Olympiastadion, Munich...😄😄😄 Remember in Euro '88. The real favorite, is Olympiastadion, Berlin. I remember hosted for the Final of 2006 FIFA World Cup (Italy vs France), where Zidane head butt to Materazzi.
Tremendos estadios tiene Alemania. Genial.
Frankfurt Arena.
BVB stadion Dortmund. The stands look more imposing than the other German stadiums.
But he didnt show it in the video
Allianz arena only 66.000?
Die uefa hat vorgeschrieben das es keine Stehplätze bei der em geben darf deswegen sind die zuschauerzahlen in vielen Stadien kleiner
@@ChristianWilmes-fc2oh oke, thankyou bro
*dass
I am not an expert, but I think the Signal Iduna Park and the Allianz Arena have a larger capacity than that
What happens is that UEFA in its competitions requires a capacity of X% of seats in stadiums, I would even tell you that for the Euro Cup it is 100%(I'm not sure at all). In the German league they allow people to attend standing.
@@Gianlucca_Chirinos_Chavez Thank you for telling me that. I did not know that for the euros they only allow seats. I am from germany so I assumed the capacity would be with the standing attendance
@@mrbruh3647The same thing happened in the 2006 World Cup, FIFA also does not allow spaces without chairs.
Allianz Arena is my favorite
My favorite ststadium is Olympiastadion Berlin ❤
Dortmund 62.000 🤔 81.365 👍
81,365 (domestic matches),
62,000 (international matches)
tournament capacity (no standing terraces allowed and some of the seats are further removed for the media
Request Malaysia super league stadium please 🇲🇾
Signal Iduna Park
Thank god no speaking 🙏
@@Angel-el6rv probably only so few seats because more spacious for more comfort
0:04 Red Bull Arena (Leipzig)
0:22 RheinEnergieStadion (Cologne)
0:40 Merkur Spiel-Arena (Dusseldorf)
0:58 Deutsche Bank Park (Frankfurt)
1:16 Volksparkstadion (Hamburg)
1:34 VELTINS-Arena (Gelsenkirchen)
1:52 MHPArena (Stuttgart)
2:10 Signal Iduna Park (Dortmund)
2:28 Allianz Arena (Munich)
2:46 Olympiastadion (Berlin)
Still so wierd to see a Euro be hosted where I've actually been to all the stadiums (except Leipzig, because fuck Red Bull) before 😅
Gelsenkirchen❤💙
BVB in Germany 88 tausend thanks uefa 🙏🫨
