Good morning, Brandon and Ranae (and little Brandon)!! Yeah, there's no doubt about it. You guys do great work. Thank the Good Lord for guys like Eric who aren't afraid to get out and lend a hand (or a leaf loader)! Great video! Stay warm! God bless.
Do a visual inspection on that impeller when you remove the intake hose.. it’ll be clear as day if it’s beat up which is what’s causing lack of suction
Check to see if both cylinders are producing. Fire and combustion, but another poster said check the impellar. Something is off. Also do you have a mesh tarp on the top?
Hey guys if you suck wet leaves like that in the machine and then it drys it’s like cement take a look inside the machine and the tube it might need to be rinsed out
Oh buddy watching you and Ranae do that first mud lot gave me anxiety. Ive been there too and those are the worst. I got to the point where I would wait until it dried enough to mulch them into the dirt. The big puddles and mud are almost as bad as frozen leaves or snow. Credit to you for sticking thru it. I know you have a schedule to keep. I cant believe you guys can work thru Christmas. I quit a week before Thanksgiving and we have a few inches of snow down. Keep up the great work. I know a good hot shower and a great meal is just the ticket after days like that.
I dont know how we invest in a leaf setup like that if we aren't sure if they're gonna ban them. Scary times. Im just going to focus on paying the remainder of the equipment off. And wait things out.
I don't know the condition of your leaf vac internals. But we have been in those situations of wet/muddy old black garbage piles of leaves with sticks, dirt, etc. Nothing will suck that shit up in timely manner. We have a 28HP Scag and it stills struggles with shit like that, and it's to be expected. I think you guys have put this Fradan on a really high pedestal. Normal piles of leaves, you shouldn't be able to keep up with it.
I’m trying to learn. Why not run a big mower with a mulching kit over those leaves about 3 or 4 times and if you have to pick up what’s left wouldn’t that be easier? Maybe that vac won’t pick it up idk. Looks like an awful lot of work to me. You guys have leaves galore. Everybody I ever see here in NC mulches no one vacs but of course we don’t have mountains like u do.
Leafzilla!!! Awesome machine.

Great content guys keep crushing it hope all is well have a great holiday season!

Thanks! You too!
Well the Echo 8010/9010 will always have the best chance of moving wet leaves above any other back pack blower!

Great comment, yes mesh tarp on the top, I think the impeller may be worn.

Great idea!
The top shute has wet leaves stuck on sides
Branden,
Could it be the wear sleev and the impeller? Also the rpm's didnt sound all that high?
It’s hard for the camera to pick up the sound of the loader. I think the impeller is worn…

You need a push blower at least to help with moving big piles of leaves
Absolutely!

Usually leaf cleanups are a breeze. In this case, the leaf loader had a bad impeller and wouldn’t suck anything up
Great video yall definitely need a push blower or better yet a stand on blower
We totally agree!
