I've always loved Tegan & Sara's music, but watching these videos just gives me a whole new perspective on how much work goes into every single song. And watching Sara be Sara is PRETTY damn cool too. I LOVE THESE CANADIANS WITH ALL MY HEART

I love reading the comments from like 4 years where people are saying "oh I love ted glad he's in the band." And then being in the future and knowing that ted is no longer in the band.
They had an electronic track of a drumbeat. Basically, with electronic instruments, you can make impossible patterns. You can make melodies, or in the case of drums, loops that are incredibly difficult for a human being to play naturally. Well, they wanted a human to play the drum loop that they had crafted electronically. And so that guy did it. That's why it was a challenge. You can even make a relatively simple electronic pattern for any instrument and it could still be very hard to play.
