It was always said Karen sang like she had a broken heart. In fact it was Richard with the broken heart. I cannot even imagine.

What can i say. I grew up with the Carpenters music as the background music of my life. I loved Karen and I think I loved Richards's voice and piano just as much. I think his Time CD is one of my all time favorites. I'd sad that Karen was taken from us so soon, but the impact she and Richard had on music and our lives was a magical gift. Love you guys...Karen miss ya and Richard thank you for so much love and music over the years.

I cannot overstate how much this beautiful song, and the whole 'Time' album mean to me. I discovered it by chance, and it helped me through a very difficult period in my life, when I was falling apart and really need a friend. I found that friend in the wonderful Richard Carpenter, whose music speaks to the very heart of Man.👌🎤🎶🎹

Richard is a great composer and musician in his own right. He sang back up for his sister, Karen, for many years. Although his voice has an uncanny similarity with Peter Cetera's voice, he has crafted his own musical genre, which is unique and different from that of Foster and Cetera. So there's no need for comparison.
