I love your content. I love seeing the bounty of the sea harvested, legally and sustainably, to feed the many. The catch-and-cook channels are wonderful, but most of them are recreational fishermen and foragers. Nice to see a good-size haul come to shore.
I came across one of your shorts and I had the chance to order black seabass through the website you mentioned. Because I live in the west coast and I ordered in the summer the fish came completely thawed out and I thought the fish were spoiled. They weren’t, I immediately froze them in the freezer for a day and cleaned them by rinsing and taking the gills out and repack by vacuum packing them. I cooked the biggest one out of the bunch and wowww I was glad I ordered sea bass. Such a flaky fish I loved it. I will be ordering more but not in summer time lol
My kid eats salmon belly with crispy skin. She’s 2 and it’s been her favorite protein since she started eating solid foods. Kids tastebuds are developed by what they’re exposed to. She won’t touch a potato in any form for some reason, but there’s nothing I’ve been able to do to change that.
- *I absolutely love* local fisherman && women! Thanks guys!. When I fly back to CT this month I'm hoping to go to Mass && grab some fish from you guys. ❤❤❤
Brother in Christ while anecdotal i have worked at a Starbucks and a Duncan doughnuts I now work as a proper coffeehouse I can say Duncan was far more difficult... If you have some level of respect a large amount of the customers at Starbucks are horrible people and very rude in my area. While the customers at the dd that I worked were almost always very kind I felt it was more difficult because I wanted to make them happy and show them more respect as they are very kind to me. The work however was mostly the same when I worked at Starbucks the only real difference is we had more flavor pumps to refill. Also the people "in my area" gave far more tips and were very kind. While I doubt this helps with yalls discourse i hope it gave another perspective. Once again love the videos keep it up!
I have no idea why I clicked on this video BUT I’m so glad I did. This was not only well edited and narrated along with being more interesting than anticipated. Love the local sales and restaurant supply.
Hey man I really love your long form content I know it's hard doing everything that you do and putting out these videos but I really love how you emphasize on fish care and the whole process and I what even like to see longer videos keep up the hard work it's much appreciated
When I'm out deep sea fishing, I just pull the gill to bleed them as we catch them except for pool contenders. Because we play for money and I have won against a similar sized fish that was bled when mine wasn't
Commercial fishing is a lot of work after fishing for about 5 hours then you have to sell your fish and prep the boat for the next day and catching your limit can be hard to do
Hey instead of digging you hands through the cold water slurry you could invest in a scoop net? If you get a scoop net with thicker string or one that uses thick mono those are the best!
As someone who fished for hook and line groundfish for 40 plus years, 30 miles seems like running to the moon for seabass. You guys do provide excellent content.
Never felt a reason to come to the US, but a fishing trip with you boys sounds like an absolute riot! Also that mackerel in a previous vid, we eat a lot of that here
Yo the text alert for fresh fish pop-ups for local commercial fishermen is incredible… you should travel to St. Petersburg/Tampa and meet some guys there and make a video and set up the text line. Huge opportunity
Question for u I’m 15 years old and have ton of lures but don’t really know how to fish them. I know Texas rigs for soft plastics and to walk a frog. But like swim baits I don’t know more than just a straight retrieve. If anyone can give advice would be a big help
You guys made me start catching my own fish. The fact that most of the fish in the store is that old is revolting. When you look at the meat on a fresh caught vs store bought fish it is insane
Dont discount the conection to your food source it puts you in the primal natural state your supposed to be in many dont like to admit that for one to live one must die even plants have lives and facing that head on is the most natural you can be. Hate to be this cheesy about it but, this is the way
Great video. Just a question. Do you dispatch the fish immediately after catching because I didn’t see any footage of you unaliving the fish when just caught
Hey bud, I'm getting my 9 year old into fishing. He's been a few times, and he seems to love it. I live in MA (north metro area), not far from Burlington. When we go fishing, we usually go around Spot Pond or Fellsway area. Do you have any good spots we could try? I'm not looking for your honey hole... just somewhere to catch him some bass.
- *Hey, I'm not a Karen butttt* I figured I'd let yah know b4 one does say it. Your website says "sold two directly" instead of sold "to" ... but hey, doesn't really matter, we know what yah mean! ❤
Any one get any recommendation for this years tuna run at first week of September, I am going to visit my gf at Boston, have no car, looking for a boat that I can get on near the city
My last 2.4 cents. To get the Amazing Price for Every Single Fish you Catch. Put them in a live well and you only have to catch half of the fish and make the most profit lets say you catch 100 fish and sell it for $1000 dollars and you have to bleed it and buy ice and make sure they are fresh or your product will be sold cheap. Instead invest in a live well . Asian People will pay Top Dollar for 😮live not dead fish and the good thing is your killing less fish and making more money than dead fish. Japanese People will pay more for live fish. I know Bluefin tuna is dead and they pay millions but you have to make sure you treat it better than your kids. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander
Who thinks Bobby can make a Steak & Cheese faster than Isaac?

How much in advance do you notify the text list on the pop ups?
Just sort it while you’re bleeding them. Put a divider in the cooler.
