People need to learn some animal anatomy. The legs of dogs, horses, deer, etc don't "bend the wrong way." What people take to be a knee bent backwards is a joint homologous to the human ankle. Their joint hologous to our knee sits much higher and bends the same way ours does. These goofy misdescriptions drive me crazy.
When someone says “bent the wrong way” in description of a cryptid, I know exactly what they mean… these aren’t normal dogs, horse, or deer… they’re crypitids… and they don’t bend the same as ours for cryptids… that’s why they look different than NORMAL animals… it’s one of the things that makes them noticeably odd in comparison to their normal species counterparts. I like the use of homologous though…
