1:29 Yeah, that's a problem. A .45 ACP round is going to punch right though those shields and have enough force on the other side to break bones. This test is already invalidated
If it were a real life scenario. The Romans would have retreated as soon as they saw they were getting slaughtered. They would have regrouped and strategize their plan of attack. The Roman Generals would not give up, they'd want the weapons the US Army have. So they would end their frontal assaults like that and gone to more guerilla style warfare. They'd even start setting up traps, such as pits for tanks to drop into.
This doesn't take into account the volumes of ammunition, and re-loading magazines. Custers 7th cavalry lost because of re-loading their rifles was much slower than the Indians winchesters.
This is why battle simulators can be very unrealistic at times as the modern army doesn't run out of ammo. What is fun about thinking about these scenarios is also the soldiers have to conserve bullets. People won't charge willy nilly. And tanks and soldiers will run out of ammo while the Roman army will face the problem of running out of soldiers.
Why would tanks run out of ammo? They fired a hell lot more and further than they did in this simulation, they would have plenty in stock and roman soldiers can't run through mountains of dead soldiers with their shield.
I loved the tanks! Seeing them blasting Romans up in the air was so funny!!! Would've been cool to see this fight again though but with no tanks. Guaranteed the Romans kill way more! Loved the video man keep it up!
The roman soldiers charging into a hopeless battle is pretty accurate if we take a look at roman military practice. The Roman Generals would not give up, they'd want the weapons the US Army have. So they would end their frontal assaults like that and gone to more guerilla style warfare. They'd even start setting up traps, such as pits for tanks to drop into.
if they needed to reload their guns it would be a different outcome
Yeah honestly and real life the tanks would be better used by having them chase around the Roman soldiers
Heck with reloading, they would run out of ammunition, and the Romans would roll over them.
That was my thought too
The soviets would be proud
@@i_am_bored7719 soviets?
This doesn't take into account the volumes of ammunition, and re-loading magazines. Custers 7th cavalry lost because of re-loading their rifles was much slower than the Indians winchesters.
Does it factor in the fact a lot of these Roman’s are bullet sponges on here but in reality, a single rifle round most likely incapacitates you.
Screw realism. It's the gameplay that matters.
Also, about the part where the people charging in, the player can set them to stay still for defense.
also at a certain amount of losses the romans would either surrender or retreat to another location

That's why UEBS 2 has the new RTS controls.
You can make them fall back.
Why would tanks run out of ammo? They fired a hell lot more and further than they did in this simulation, they would have plenty in stock and roman soldiers can't run through mountains of dead soldiers with their shield.
Roman General: "Veni, vidi, vici!"
Roman Soldiers actually ON the battlefield: "veni, vedi, madesco!"
I loved the tanks! Seeing them blasting Romans up in the air was so funny!!! Would've been cool to see this fight again though but with no tanks. Guaranteed the Romans kill way more! Loved the video man keep it up!
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
this is the largest and most brutal fight in history
never forget "it's not a war crime the first time" The Fat electrician
This is basically the anime, gate, but if they attacked America instead
Epic Battles, protecting us from history repeating itself.
When I see “entire IS Army” I’m expecting Apaches, mortars, artillery, etc. Not just tanks and soldiers.
This is just a WW2 medium tank mechanized division
@@natogamez5672 so maybe not say “entire”?
Wow epic battle, you should do the Mongolian army against the kingdom of Chaca Da which was taken over, I’m a history nerd 🤓
THIS IS AWSOME. Daley your a legend my dude.
This is basically the anime gate lol
totally
Hey daley, NASA called, they want their computer back..
The roman soldiers charging into a hopeless battle is pretty accurate if we take a look at roman military practice. If you're a roman legionary it was basically:
"If you charge straight at the enemy you might live, but probably die honorably.
If you turn and run back, you will most likely be tortured to death by your comrades."
bruh
@@midas7935 Yeah, one punishment for deserting was being beaten to death with sticks, by your fellow soldiers, with whom you have trained, fought and lived.
Anotherone was being sewn into a bag with two ferrets and then thrown into the Tiber (a river in/by rome)
They were brutal, but that made their military effective
@@lucamarvinfritz1293 ik that but like it wasn't a charge most of the time especially for the romans. like early on it was a phalanx and then it turned into legion lines and centuries
@@midas7935 You are right. I guess i subconsciously used charge to... show how extrem it was?
Also, i'm a bit of a fan of the ancient times, especially if compared to the european middle ages.
@@lucamarvinfritz1293 ikr it's super interesting I love the pre bronze Age collapse and the end years of the Roman Empire
This looks like a movie that they have to defend the world from Spartans!
Never thought I'd watch someone else playing a game but that was crazy, great fun!

Daley, I am asking you as a Subscriber, but more importantly, as a Friend. Do you think tomorrow can be a good comeback for Rico's Brigade. Don't get me wrong, we love all the videos you've posted, but Rico's Brigade is the Cherry on top
He needs more preparation for Rico’s Brigade
@@cosmo1240 he's had months. I do appreciate the spontaneous and creativity in each of his videos, but I think now's the time
I want to see an anime like GATE but instead of Imperials vs the JSDF, it’s the ww2 US Army vs the Romans! (I really need to see a Testudo formation getting folded by a well placed grenade or two!)
"They have magical dor dor things" - Words of a roman empire who survived
Imagine a a-10 warthog was in this
3:42 The overview shot makes it look like the roman soldiers are sloshing through a blood sea or something with how red it is
Need a reloading and ammo mechanic for modern troops.
Reality check: 95% of the US infantry died in the first 5 seconds from friendly fire...
im happy to see more UEBS content from you ! this video was evily funny
Watch anime called "GATE" and you will see one of these scene and it is Brutal. A portal between two world. Modern day vs medieval.
Have you not seen our movies?
We can fire without reloading. It's called the 'Freedom Perk'.
You should try the automatic Shermans lol.
Also the shot gunners don’t really work on the Roman’s…
this is literally the first battle between JSDF vs the allies in GATE
a platoon leader to a General: it was a tragic battle.. we lost One-Hundred and Sixty-six troops..
the remaining roman Legionnaire to his Leader: We lost Literally everyone, we didn't have enough was the problem.
168 actually
"I lived as best I could, and then I died. Be careful where you step: the grave is wide." MRB
Holy shit... I knew it would be a bloodbath either way, but I didn't expect this to be a completely one-sided curbstomp battle.
Those Shermans clearly should have some friendly fire kills driving around like mad ants ; )
This is why i love internet, this was probably the last thing i was thinking to see tonight.
The algoritm favors me.
awesome vid :p
These type videos always pop up on my feed… never watch… randomly watched on this one…. this ish was amazing 😂 I subbed for fun 😂

That final Roman was running for his life..God speed sir!
Keep one alive to tell the story.
It's like the opening episodes of gate right here
That last Roman soldier has one crazy story to tell if he ever manages to survive lol !
