I loved it so much such great symbolism ❤️
And then Remus realizes what he actually did. He didn't think of the consequences for his actions until then. After he realized he looked at everyone. They were scared and sad. He didn't like that he made them feel this way. I mean- a part of him did, but under that, he really just has human emotions but he has the power to act upon them.
((If you don't mind me adding to this....)) ... Intrusive thoughts are, after all, harmless at their core. Each and every one is nothing more than a passing fancy, however dark they may be. He was _never_ meant to _truly_ harm anyone, but left behind by all with nothing but his own thoughts, no regular pestering and needling the other Sides' sides to break the tension (or rather, lack thereof), Remus quickly lost his ability to gauge just _how much_ Thomas and each Side could handle before he'd need to let up. Meanwhile, without Remus's constant presence, the others had begun to grow _comfortable_ in their newfound peace, even _Virgil and Janus_ eventually just breathing a sigh of relief and forgetting... but with comfort comes _complacency,_ leaving them even more defenseless than they were on the day Remus first revealed himself to them. What was once merely a pest had become a true, inescapable threat. They never stood a chance.
This looks incredible! The little details such as the "Broken Xmas lights" being colored green and red, as well as the black and poisonous markings from the octopus rings was so creative. *And don't even get me STARTED on the artwork-* Honestly, well done.
It was a horrible experience....I want to more. But seriously. Personally I am not a fan of Remus but this animation is really awesome. You had to work hard. The animation is fluent and refined.

FGKJDKKDKJDS WOW this is your first animatic?? this is incredible, i could go on about all the details i noticed just like within the first few seconds wowwwwwww: the "my name is janus" on his gloveless hand, remus' eyes shocked and then the X's inside as he becomes angry, the next remus shot not even showing his eyes but showing his tears as he realizes everyone left him (the flash from Virgil to Roman my heartttttt-), and then Remus joining in on singing "victorious" at the bass drop hhhhhhhh You know it's a good animatic when you take the song and can apply it to a completely different scenario and give every line new meaning, like killer king at 0:40 or of course the broken christmas lights line! and the "we're gonna turn up the crazy" as Remus begins influencing Thomas more. and oh god the shot at 1:11, how Remus is only doing this because at the core of it he's sad and lonely and hurting from being constantly rejected and the strings!!! the green strings that prey on all their weaknesses: janus' mouth sewn shut so he can't use his silver tongue, roman's crown from the king he wanted to emulate and the vine choking him like a necklace, logan's eyes shut which blinds him so he can't see clearly anymore, which was his greatest strength. i'm not sure about virgil's (eyes open so he has to confront every danger?) or patton's-the smile so that he's forced to always be a caricature of happiness, but i'm thinking maybe the ears because he wants to stay "deaf" to the things that he doesn't want to face, such as his sadness and remus himself? and thats not even talking about the _art_ (1:45 and 2:35 my beloved), or the words cutting across the screen, or the scene changes in line with the music, this is just phenomenal
