It depends on the market, just like all real estate markets. If the market is low, inventory is plentiful and cash is offered to a motivated seller, you may be able to get approved by Disney. That’s our story, not once but twice. Thanks DVC store! You are awesome!
I would like to to say DVC Store’s wonderful consultant Yamilin gave me this information recently and truly helped me understand the system. I look forward to purchasing soon as an add on for my initial contract.
We are in the process of closing on a resale contract with Jaimie Carr of the DVC store and it has been an easy process. She has also been very informative and upfront with the entire process.
As someone who dealt with a less than reliable broker in the past. I appreciate the information and honesty about the process you provide with these shows.
I offered 200$ on a 210$ VGC contract. It was only 500$ savings on my 50 point contract but savings is savings. The took my offer. I knew going in that a small VGC would cost me at least 200$ a point so it worked out.
UM Bs I own over 1300 pts, and you should let the person counter, most people list their points to high. And if you know what you are doing you can find out what the average price that is being paid for dvc points. I have gotten great deals and I have had Disney but the points out. Either way its my money and if you are smart you go for the lowest price possible.
I am curious if they are talking Fidelity? I noticed with VGC, they prices are much lower any other site (20-50$ per point lower). I can't speak for other DVC's as I only look up VGC listing/prices. All their listings are pending right away. I wonder why even the seller even lists with Fidelity when they could list with another site and make more.
I've been looking into resale contracts and I'm wondering what the difference is when you buy from an "international seller", does that mean it'll cost more in closing or you have to pay some sort of tax or that it'll take longer?
I just bought a contract from a family in Canada, it wasn't necessarily more in closing, but certain personal information was required to make the country swap
Shelby Chanel If you buy from an “international seller” they have to pay a FIRPTA tax and it is tied to your social security number. It really isn’t a big deal but with a domestic seller that doesn’t happen so the Brokers use “International Seller” só buyers are aware.

Great show, thanks for providing.
We worked with Jamie to buy a contract and she was wonderful.
I wish this had been a live show so we could've asked questions.
Another great show guys. So much good information and education on this show. Thanks Pete and gang!!!

Great show nice job thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
$130 would have cleared ROFR over the last couple months at every resort except VGF and VGC.

could just be that the seller just needs the money quick and they know if they price it low, the contract will be easy to sell!

What is the best resorts for peeps looking 4 peace + quiet???
No kids... No families
Yea... I know...😂🤣😂🤣🤣
With no pet friendly options, I probable won't ever get to stay at a DVC resort. :(
I agree
@@msbronzekitten Disney is missing a very strong spending segment of the travel population!
