I love him. I’ve experienced a lot of pain in my life, the death of my sister, my own near death experience from a bad reaction to a drug which left me bedridden for half of a year. People see me and perceive me to be healthy and happy but I have a lot of fear and emotional pain that revolves around death. I desperately want to be happy and his words soothe me. I’m very thankful for his wisdom, helping me to work on this.

Thank you. Yes indeed the problem is the "fear", which is instilled by powerful people who really have no genuine awareness of the pain and suffering they cause. They are caught in a destructive loop, never learning-unfortunately. This "economic crisis" is actually a mental formation that is born from ignorance and the need for control. To take back our power has to happen from within ourselves. The practices Thay talks of are our real freedom😊.

I talk alot and I like talking. So I want to ask by doing mindful meditation and following budha teaching one do not lose its nature right?? Like I m talkative so I ll be talkative right. Like monks become silent when they start practicing and all. But i dont want to be silent. I want to cheerful and always talking.
