This comment put the biggest smile on my face! Thank you 😊😊 I'm so glad my videos are relaxing for you. I love putting videos on in the background too. Just fills the space and feels cozy ❤️
A great way to get some of the sourdough flavor without the challenge of keeping a starter alive is making a long-fermented bread like Jim Lahey's No-Knead Bread. it's super simple and comes out perfectly for me every time, and since you let it rise for 12-18 hours it develops that depth of flavor and a bit of tang. I make a loaf almost once a week, I love it so much!
Nikki… Girl. You did the damn thing with the champagne vinaigrette. My new favorite dressing now omg it’s SOOO good!!! I added a couple tablespoons of unsweetened vegan coconut yogurt to make it a creamy vinaigrette, massaged it over kale, and paired it with quinoa and tofu tzatziki kabobs for a wholesome bowl! 🧡🧡
I've been using your tip about adding to a food to increase the nutritional value (and the experience). I added hemp hearts and chopped pecans to my bowl of Kashi Cinnamon Harvest. I really appreciate that tip and use it a lot. Thanks!
You are awesome for being honest about the taste of the bread! Baking my own “easy” bread even with the best flour or recipe does not taste like bakery bread! It usually lacks salt and the tang I love! I love how real and honest you are! 💕Thx
This video was the cherry on top of my weekend! I love how cozy your videos are and they’re always in tune with my life in a way, like I’ve wanted to get back into baking bread. 😊 Sourdough is intimidating but I swear it is doable and if you go ahead with, please share your journey! ❤
Meal Prepping for the Week and just finished roasting Cherry Tomatoes and this ingredient takes every pasta, sandwich or wrap to the next level🍅 Thank You for always sharing GREATNESS👏🏾
100% agree about RUclips toots, even not food related. A friend of mine fixes his car using YT and saves so much $ on simple maintenance things like oil changes, tune ups etc, I LOVE RUclips for all kinds of content.
Welcome Home Nikki! I loved the travel content of course. I was particularly inspired by the interiors. Scandinavian hygge? I love coming home to comforting loaded oatmeal bowls and green smoothies.
Love starting my Sunday out watching your videos! I can't remember if you have a video on like veggie wraps and different variations but that would be a fun one. Thanks as always for the quality content🌱
My GP told me it can take 1 day for every 1 hour of the timezone difference between your destination and your home for your jet lag to clear. Say you travel somewhere 7 hours behind your timezone, when you return home, it can take 7 days to feel back to normal. Hope your body gently acclimates soon 💕
The bread looked really good. I watched a ton of Bake With Jack videos a couple of years ago, he talks a lot about sourdough, but I think he has a few simple bread recipes as well. Loved his channel, learned a lot of tricks! :)
I cook all kinds of meals from different countries but I hate baking. It is so precise and I always mess something up. I love fresh baked bread so I'm glad I'm married to someone who likes to bake.
Everything you make always looks tasty Nikki. I would love to make my own bread & bagels. I have yet to try that. I do not eat store bought bread often. I buy it for my kids.
@NikkiVegan I used to work in a grocery store when I was a kid and I remember smelling fresh bread 🥖 and grabbing a loaf fresh out the oven. Bread 🥖 is always best when it’s fresh! Have a great week and thank you as always.
I seriously never thought about PB on oatmeal. Definitely trying. I’m traveling to England in a few weeks and so excited as they are so good with vegan options and it’s also home as a replanted Brit in 🇺🇸. Thanks for the great video.
Nice! That's going to be so fun! What part of England will you be in? I have some London vlogs from a few years back if you want to take a look. Some of the places have changed but it was such a fun trip. Hope you have a great time 😊😊 And yes! I love putting either PB, almond butter, or tahini on my oats in the morning. It's my favorite part 😋 Let me know what you think!
@@NikkiVegan hey Nikki. I’m originally from just outside London so am quite familiar with vegan friendly places but will go back and look at your videos. We will be staying close to family on the outskirts but plan to hit London for some tourist things. Cheerio 🥰
Such a nice video, love the cozy vibe ❤ Not food-related but I was wondering what brand of jewelry do you have on (necklaces & earrings): they are so beautiful, love them 😍
you might be able to add a bit of apple cider vinegar to your batter/dough to give it that sourdough tangy-ness if you're looking for that taste without the work!
Hi dearest Nikki. I am behind on your videos I need to catch up!! I love your videos always. I'm still working on a healthier relationship with food. I unfortunately have a history with binge eating. Peanut butter is my favorite food and I'm so afraid of trusting myself to eat, always in past, it would end up in me overeating. What would you recommend?? Thank you so much Nikki!! Btw curious to know what is your favorite kind or brand pb?
Welcome back to the States, but loved your visits to Norway and Iceland ❤ The aroma of fresh bread might be one of the best. I don't bake often and have never made bread, but you made it look easy. Thank you for sharing and can you tell us about your double necklace? So simple and dainty for summer.
Another awesome what Nicole ate in a day with yummy 😋 recipes. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Nicole. I have renamed my channel from davidsallotment because I am making vegan lifestyle videos now and have a lot planned.
Ah that's so exciting! Congrats! I think filming lifestyle content is really fun and it's helpful for people to see how vegans plan/prepare their meals. A lot of people think that being vegan is "weird" or difficult, so lifestyle videos can show how being vegan can fit into practical, everyday life. I wish you the best of luck! 😊😊
you are the prettiest woman i have ever seen in my life.. I see the whole heavens in your eyes.when you talk its like some ethereal symphony being played by celestials and time stops forever. When your eyes moves, my heart skips a beat and I fall into a transcendental space of infinite depth. If you were single, i would have surely come for you from india and do everything possible to win your heart, so that i could behold your eyes forever..
Can you make a cleaning/cleaning hacks video?! Your space always looks immaculate!
Yessssssss
The bread looked like it came out great! Who can't resist a loaf of freshly baked bread!?
Thank you! And yes, fresh bread is up there with some of my favorite foods of all time! lol
I love leaving ambience videos on in the background all day while i'm home alone! so comforting!
This comment put the biggest smile on my face! Thank you 😊😊 I'm so glad my videos are relaxing for you. I love putting videos on in the background too. Just fills the space and feels cozy ❤️
The New York Times bread recipe is epic. The bread cooks in a pre-heated dutch oven in the oven. Delicious!

My I'm home meal is simply penne with tomato sauce...can't beat it...
Yum 😊 That's one of my favorites too! So comforting

a great hack is that some bakeries and small businesses will sell sourdough starters so you don't have to do all that work!

Having tempeh and roasted Brussel sprouts with lemon hummus for lunch as I watch! Thank you for all you do!
Loved this! Your hair looks phenomenal! 🫶✨🧡

That bread looked perfect! Definitely want to try making a loaf now. Owyn has the best tasting chocolate protein smoothies! Loved the video 😃
Such a great video - as usual - and a nice way to start Sunday!! You motivated me to have a reset day!😊

I watched the documentary called “Forks over Knives” and want to go vegan. I’m going to watch you for ideas ….wish me luck!! 👍
@NikkiVegan I used to work in a grocery store when I was a kid and I remember smelling fresh bread 🥖 and grabbing a loaf fresh out the oven. Bread 🥖 is always best when it’s fresh! Have a great week and thank you as always.
I totally agree! There's nothing like freshly baked bread 😊😊

That night gown you wore in like 1.45-1.50 mark is so lovely! Link? 🫣🙏🏻
My “I’m home” meal is spaghetti with bread.
I love sourdough too! 💜💜💜
Love your videos you look happy ❤
Thanks Suzanne! That's nice of you to say 😊 Hope you're having a great weekend!
Definitely trying the oatmeal combo..looked really good!
Just made the tempeh and it's so fast and delicious! Any way you know of to get it to crisp up at the end?

hi Nicole that bread looked great. Makes me want to try making bread again. Thank you for your content : )
That blt ❤❤❤
SOOO good! Hope you enjoy if you recreate it at home 😊😊
Oh wow the bagel recipe, I forgot you were blonde!!
Nikki what polish are you wearing!? I love the color!

Yep 😊 Norwegian and Serbian for generations back on both sides. What about you? ❤️

Aw thank you for being here 😊😊 Happy Sunday!
Have you considered getting a bread making machine?! 👍
So true about long form content!!
I've been making English muffins lately; very easy and toast up nicely.
