Bosch AMC2-4WCF modullar controller DLL RCV failed

BIS installations with an unresponsive AMC2-4WCF modular controller. Device cannot be configured. Firmware upgrade is failing and there is no data traffic between the device and the BIS software. Device firmware is v.00.47. All attempts to upgrade to the applicable V.37.23 fail. BIS displays the following message: "DLL RCV failed"
(CRC ERROR in receiving new download program).

Hi, is it possible to run a AMC2 4W without LAC services ? I'm in the process of a system save. Previous installer has passed away and i have a client which is asking for help. I'm quite sure it is running standalone at the moment without a LAC link is that possible ? Thanks !

If you download the software from your regional Bosch webpage you will see that it also includes the "AMC IP Config" tool plus the required firmware for your devices. BIS software platform has also internal tools for that.

Sorry for the late reply. You need to clear the buffered memory. Multiple power cycles are needed without the battery and a forced compact flash rewrite. Proceed with CAUTION as this might lead to a completely unusable device.

This is not a wiring issue. Two doors with entry/exit Wiegand readers are connected on this unit. Actually I am new to this and I am very eager to know abt the wiring diagram with this amc2 controller for eg:- Mag Lock, Door contact/sensor, Push Button, Break glass, card reader. I would be grateful to you, if you provide me complete chart of wiring diagram.
